Why thank you, Night Star! I appreciate the welcome. At the moment my room would be quiet & candlelit, with a merry fire in the hearth, a small glass of brandy and a bit of caramel, and some Duke Ellington playing.

Unfortunately IRL it's harsh fluorescent lighting, sterile carpet, the steady whine of computers and the constant din of air conditioning.

But I have tea!!

I'm not a big guy, Gordi. Besides, you can always perform some addition. It's the subtraction that's...um...unpleasant.

For those who see the Glass as "Half-full" or "Half-Empty".... they are missing the point!

The Glass can be Re-Filled!!!! LOL

Good on ya!

OK peeps, I'm afraid I have to go get some shut-eye for a change!!
Big day tomorrow moving office.

Goodnight from Scotland!

Good morning Shedizens!

*waves to Miss Elfie*
Yes, I seem to have gotten my creativity back, a little bit! I even wrote a story in the short stories forum yesterday, haven't done that for almost 2 months! Haha.

*waves to PrairieShepherd*
Hellooooo! Welcome to the Shed!

*waves to everyone*
Good morning - I hope everyone is having at least a bearable day!

I'm still waiting for my damned refund. It finally bounced, like I knew it would, and they're finally transferring it to my alternative details. This is Business Day #2 of the 5 business days I'm supposed to wait, weekend tomorrow, so the 5th business day will be next Wednesday. Watch it not show up til Wednesday. Grrrrrrrrr. But as long as I get it, and don't have to scream and throw a fit. (Already done that enough in private. LOL.)

But at least this month is almost over. Worst month I've had in a long long time. It can only get better from here on out, surely. (*knocks on wood*)

I'm off to the mall today, huzzah! Belinda's Day Out! So exciting!! LOL. And am going to try to write another Shed story later this evening! More stories!!!!! MORE!!!!!! And I'm talking too much, so, I shhhhhhh now and *vanish*

Your quiet room sounds lovely. Did you say candlelight, fire and brandy? I'll be right over.

Sweet dreams Sir Gordi!

Morning Kaelci! Have fun at the mall! I'll look forward to another story entry!

Sorry I was away making a hearty soup. There's everything but the kitchen sink in it. LOL

I have to make the ciggs that I was supposed to make yesterday so I'll run over to youtube and play a movie or two and try to pop in and out of here. Maybe a story from me too later. Hugs to everyone!

I think a bad week-month has been in the air! Everyone has been having a rough time, but I think the change is coming!
Hang in there.

I personally cannot wait for Halloween stories!
If you go back to competition nearly a decade ago, and You'll see me saying it's my favorite short story theme!

Skid, great news on the bank account

Evening everyone evening

Ghost town of Bode California, amazing place in a state of arrested decay and the best darn place to walk around to see how they use to live in the wild wild west. They still have the general store with things just left on the shelf fom 100 years ago!

I just love the old era clothing and victorian houses, I follow all the museums like Victoria Albert on FB for their pictures of antique clothing.

This era I particularly love, but don't know how they ever coped with corsets!!

Yeah, I heard it's much quicker. I gave them the routing number and bank and haven't heard anything back so I guess that's all the info they needed.

My dream is all get dressed up in 1920's stuff and get roaring drunk on the orient express....Oh and murder someone and blame August for it....It is on the Orient express afterall
.
Heck I just love dressing up.
I wish it was socially acceptable to wear a spaceman costume or spiderman just because you want to...

lol!
August will proudly take the blame

I went on the Orient express in 1991.

It was old, worn down, stinky and totally unglamorous, though I felt very glamorous with that on my ticket, the photos, not so much!
