It might not be psychological impairment that is afoot. You could be suffering from anything from heatstroke, to clinical exhaustion, from a neurochemical imbalance bought on by a faulty nerve, or an environmental factor, like a toxin or microbe, to which you are more thoroughly exposed than your family, or against which your immune response is not enough.

Go to the doctors office. Get checked out.

Thanks for this! As for quakes well i am on the Juan de fuca plate area who knows what's ahead. I love a good mystery but I sure wish they were all solvable!

Can't hurt right, but my husband has been here all through the weirdness it is not just me. lol heatstroke we are freezing here on the coast this summer, it never has been warm, lit the fire yesterday! Not sure how a microbe could remove items that are certainly gone right from our sink while we was home. Large items that don't fall through cracks or down the drain.

It might be than rather than remove those objects, whatever is affecting you inserts the missing object, where there was none, so that next time you happen by, to find the object missing (as it should be) it is a shock to you.

This happens to me all the time. I will put my keys in the side pocket of my purse so that I can find them in the morning. Of course, in the morning when I'm hustling to get to work, I think "where are my keys?"-- then I remember,"yes, you put them in the purse pocket for safekeeping" and I reach in there and they are gone. I search my entire purse three times, I run up and down the stairs looking in pants pockets and in the bathroom on the counter, and go out to look in the car under the seats. By this time I am frantic because I will be late for work, and I know where I left my keys but they are not there.

I take a deep breath and I start looking all over again. I look in my purse again, it's not in the pocket, but there they are sitting there right on top of everything. It is impossible for the keys to be laying on top of my purse at that point.

At work, I will have a pen on my desk. I have a meeting starting in 2 minutes and I'll go to reach for my pen to take notes, but it's not there anymore. My desk is not messy. I look around and look on the floor, stand up and look everywhere. Alas, no pen.

This goes on for several minutes. I turn to dial in for my phone meeting, turn back and my flippin pen is sitting in plain view dead center on my desk.

This happens everyday in some fashion with some object. It is maddening.

Here's another thread that started on the 9th about oddities in their home. They're going over the possible causes too. I'm curious, do you happen to live in a rural area, or have a large yard with some large trees? I'm working on a theory and this plays into it.

I like your ME theory too. Here's another one, generational little people, fairies or brownies or gnomes that follow families. If an older member of your family has passed within the last year they may have moved to your place. Or a neighbor that they wanted to move to but couldn't due to lack of natural habitat. Your yard may be more to their liking.

If they are upset they take things and sometimes return them. They can play many tricks on us. I shared a beautiful garden with my Irish neighbor, Fitzgerald. They were clearly upset with him and his grown children who were living with him. I had a few sightings of them and one time spoke with them, very enlightening.

Mr. Fitzgerald eventually made peace with them after I told him the cause due to my speaking with a couple of them. He remembered his father, who had passed a year or so before telling him about them and how to treat them. Mr. Fitzgerald never believed it and didn't give them their due.

The next morning I saw him placing a beautiful potted palm underneath the huge Pecan tree in the garden. He said it was for them. He also started putting a saucer of milk on his porch every evening, once again for them. All the strangeness stopped from thereon. And the garden started growing like crazy! It won an award and people came from all over to see it.

So perhaps, look around you, hug a tree, play some music outside and put a saucer of milk on your porch every evening.

Or, perhaps it is the ME theory, idk for sure,

Because we are dealing with the unknown and the unusual I am willing to entertain any possibility. Interesting thing, I am different in that I do hug trees :-) I love nature and flowers and trees and plants and animals. We are vegetarian and I am a sensitive person in many forms. Sensitive to others feeling, react differently to any drugs then others feel as though places are good, bad or neutral. That sort of thing, I have wondered if most of the ME people are like myself my only sister to experience the ME is also sensitive and a nature lover and vegetarian also.

Just seeking answers, difficult because people get upset when we make conjectures.

May I ask what herbs your husband was putting in your coffee? Perhaps they were warning you not to drink it anymore?

LOL I should not have included that joke in the OP didn't realize how it would be misunderstood, my world is different then most.

That was a joke, I had teased him once before about trying to kill me because I had a beautiful belladonna plant in the garden and it disappeared completely one night, this was years ago (gopher?). We have been together a long time and we are not young. I have never used any kind of drug not even pot and have no desire to and he stopped using pot long before I met him 25 or so years ago.

The dream you posted on the other thread, could you repost it here to keep the thread complete? Also, the photo in the other thread of a stone with a cross on it was interesting. You mentioned you found a similar one on your property?

Guess I'm saying to watch for signs, go with your feelings and lol, put out a saucer of milk or a bit of bread in the evening with a few kind words. And I'd switch coffee brands just to see what happens.

I hope it's the little people and not ME. ME means our fabric of reality is not stable anymore which we all depend on, even the little people.

Well milk or bread or anything would be eaten by animals I bet we have all kinds of critters out there.We feed a wild cat we had spayed, she doesn't like milk though. Lately she has be3en hiding at night and not sleeping in her bed on the back porch so something is bothering her maybe a bear around.

Funny thing, a few weeks ago I had a dream that I was out by our well and found a tiny little person stuck under a fallen branch. I picked him up really careful but it was difficult to not hurt the little guy, took him inside and used tweezers and tape to fix a broken leg. I took him back where I found him with a scrap of wool as a blanket over and under him, then I put him down and called out that I will not speak to anyone about their being there that they need to take their guy before any animals come and I turned away and he was taken.
The stone was from this guys thread tinner07 you pointed out, I honestly don't remember what ours looks like just remember we had seen a stone with a cross shape, I will look sometime today.

Very good question! it could be spirits talking to you, but if they start asking to do bad things, might want to take it seriously. Once somone said, if you are crazy but dont admit, then you are on your way to an institution.

Okay, no food then. Well maybe plant some flower seeds or some kind of good plant where you found the little guy in your dream? Or put a few colorful items there, like strips of cloth, or beads? He'll see it. No iron though.

If you see the little guy again or his compadres try for a talk with them.
