caring about what?

It's obvious that they care about something, or they wouldn't be contemplating a protest.

...and it is their constitutional right to protest. First Amendment, in fact. No one says you have to like it, though.

You can contemplate a protest with zero evidence towards your cause.

Hell, the occupations proved that you don't even have to know the topic you're protesting before you show up to protest.

Oh look; nationalistic fluff.

Wondrous.

Yup, these topics are often flowing with the stuff.

"First amendment rights" is a phrase you're using to try and trigger something nationalistic.

It's the same tactic others would use to have you believe that you can disrespect melodically arranged tones.

Nobody questioned their first amendment rights.

i am still confused as to what exactly the purpose of disrespecting your country to protest, and what it is thats being protested.

When law enforcement murder veterans for camping. When law enforcement murder human beings for selling loose cigarettes with UFC moves and walk Scott free with a paid vacation. ON CAMERA ! Where was all these arm chair patriots outrage ?

All these statist sheep bitching and moaning over Kap refusing to ( submit his will to tyranny ) stand up and pledge his allegiance to the flag. The irony in this is in this county were are Spose to have free speech and freedom of expression. The man is simply disgusted at the injustice happening in this country and I can't say that I blame him. He never said all cops were bad he's saying the bad ones are not being held accountable. Non conformity is not a form of disrespect in fact quite the contrary. The people that aren't outraged over the killings of human beings by government sanctioned murderers cry because a athlete won't worship a flag are part of the problem ! That's fascism ! Maybe these people should worship the Chinese flag or old USSR flag. Because they do not pledge to liberty for they endorse fascism under the guise of the red white and blue.

This isn't a black or white thing it's a blue thing and a green thing

So if you ask me being complicit with police brutality is disrespect to your country and your fellow Americans. Dont get me wrong BLM is a mockery and a disservice to MLK and his message and has no solutions or proposals to solve the problem. It's a George Soros production like Operation Wall Street and will eventually fizzle out. But a far cry from the black panther party in its hay day. By alienating non blacks as victims of police brutality there is no solidarity , with no solidarity it is a lost cause.

Kap has done more for awareness than thousands of African Americans protesting in the streets by simply doing nothing.

To do that on 9/11 would be immensely disrespectful. Glad i'm not a Seahawks fan.

Probably the best time to do it. Thanks to a crappy foreign policy by the US government the US soldiers may have directly contributed to the bombing of the Twin Towers.

9/11 is the best day to dissent.

No it isn't, it's disrespectful on a day where we are supposed to memorialize the death of 3,000+ innocent American civilians. They are not protesting US foreign policy (which I agree that it is a complete disaster). They are protesting Black oppression by the the police/US govt with BLM. Stop making these tools into these heroes when it was the heroes on 9/11 they should be honoring including the very police officers they are protesting.

I'm with em. I'm american and I've always stood for the anthem. I tear up at every super bowl.
I love my country and that's why I will no longer stand.

I
I will sit and mourn for her.

And if you truly loved her so would you.

TRUE AMERICANS YOU SHOULD NOT STAND FOR THE ELITE AND WHERE THEY ARE TAKING THE
DEAD BODY OF OUR COUNTRY>

Mourn her now while you still have a chance.

LMAO

If you're that tired of hearing about Constitutional Rights i suggest moving to a country that has none... You mat be more comfortable in a place like Cuba, China, Thailand, or Russia where protesting and exercising free speech is typically met with long stints in jail.

You exercise your rights the way you choose, the same should be applicable to the other citizens of America as well. Weather you are tired of hearing about it or not means nothing.

I believe the post was referring to the dismissive attitude thrown out whenever topics like this arise.

Saying that the team has first amendment rights doesn't combat for or against either end of this discussion.

I don't think so, looks pretty clear that the statement there is the right doesn't matter and that you need to care more about the respect and common decency.
