Proof, Sceptics, Debunking...

Title continued; Paid disinformation, Sceptics, Paid sceptics?..and a spook in a pear tree.

I've been on ATS for sometime now as a member, and before that a casual observer, and familiar with most of the subject matter presented here on ATS most of my life, going back to my late teens. And I don't post much, mostly I read the post, and occasionally star&flag.

I have noticed lots of sceptics post and what they don't believe in. And of course that's what sceptics do. (Hey guys, they have forums just for you on the intra-web.) And that's ok, the forum needs balance, how many? Lots!

If I post a picture of a rock, before the days end someone will call it a mellon, and argue that's what it is till they are blue in the face, of course this is an exaggeration, but you get the point.

If I post and say, I have a rock, some will say where's the photo, there is no rock. And as disinformation goes, said rock would be on Mount Kilimanjaro, not my back yard.

Paid disinformation is all over the political threads.

Paid sceptics, hmmmm, that's a dicey one, not sure you can pay someone to not believe, I guess this would fall under paid disinformation.

Now if I said the rock was given to me by an alien named Tilt, then the spook may have a look-see at my post, if said alien and his race is known by a acronym agency that said spook work's for. Well, it's goodbye rock and laughingdog.

We on this forum have to except the fact that the Mandela effect, the flat earth, and a whole host of other off the wall topics are going to find their way to this page, regardless if you believe them or not.

And as I have said before, the spooks are here, knee deep.

Is there some meaning to this thread that I might be missing?

I have noticed lots of sceptics post and what they don't believe in. And of course that's what sceptics do.

Everyone's a skeptic in one way or another

Or do you believe in everything and anything and dont have any skepticism at all towards any subject or claim?

Maybe I should have posted this in rant, because that's basically what it is. I'm reading post and rarely do I see a continued dialogue, the post are being put down and called hogwash...me sceptical!? That anyone will really understand this post.

Nope no one is trying to squash a hearsay story, for instance no one cares about Jenny's supposedly seeing her grandmother's ghost in the garden, but, you can bet your bottom dollar they're trying to squash the 9/11 threads and the Clinton email scandals, and a host of others. Sure, everyone has an opinion.

Imagine how stupid we were if nobody would force us to use some logic in all the woo we dwell in.

What really pissed me off is people reading the OP, maybe two more posts and constantly keep bringing up the same debunked debunking arguments.

Yes, I see your point, not to be detrimental to my original post, there is a need to debate, unravel and unwrap to get to the truth.

Actually I think the paid shills or whatever are the ones promoting those stories.

For instance, I don't care about some server, testimony or lies to cover up the deleting, denying and more lying.

I want to know the email content and whatever her secret involvement in world events are. Thats what they are deflecting away from.

Good point, and like I said, sometimes proof might not be forthcoming, bottom line, I agree with your statement.

I wanted to post a remark that was funny... but I was afraid no one would laugh (The Mandela effect is true the earth used to be flat, now it's round.)
