A car, whose owner is on an intelligence services watch list of people suspected of religious radicalisation, was discovered near Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris on Saturday night with seven gas cylinders inside, police and judicial officials said.
The car owner was taken into custody but later released, one judicial official said.
A couple, aged 34 and 29, were arrested at a motorway lay-by on Tuesday in southern France in connection with the incident and remained in custody, the official said.

Sort of breaking news, a car with 7 gas cylinders has been found near Notre Dame Cathedral, two people are in custody in relation to this incident.
There was no detonation device found, which is a bit odd, but maybe they were planning on ramming and creating an explosion from the impact.

Never waste a non event if it can somehow be linked to terror attack.
Maybe he worked for a fire extinguisher company.

My daughter brought me 10-15 gas cylinders a couple of weeks ago. It's a good thing she wasn't stopped.
Oh snap, she may be a terrorist for bringing her Dad empty gas grill tanks so he can build fire pits....
That's it! Off to jail she goes!

Maybe he did work for a fire extinguisher company. Maybe not. We don't know whether this news story has legs, or not.
Clearly, people are a bit on edge. Why the obfuscation? Unless a population on edge is exactly what they are looking for..?
It would be one heck of a coincidence if this guy who is on a terrorist watch list, and driving around with gas canisters near major attractions is just doing his legit job..

Could be more 'obfuscation' in the main stream. If he was doing something as horrific as it 'sounds', they wouldn't let him go, obviously.

I know it sounds obvious, but again, when it comes to these people, I'm a bit of a sceptic. Remember that the disgusting POS that blew himself up in Brussels had been released early from incarceration. His crime? Shooting at police officers. And yet another attacker arrested in Turkey for terrorist related activity and, yes, released back into public.

Again you're presuming this guy was dong something illegal, like those other guys, right?
Bottom line: the powers that be do not have the public's best interest in mind.
