hi , this is my first thread in ATS , anyway i just want to share with you that their is a huge probleme on Microsoft outlook.com server , if you happen to be one of the users of that service please BE AWARE that there is a big probleme that will might or might not occure to you .

the probleme is that all your the emails on you account will be deleted , and all your personnal infos will be kept in the server with no chance to get them back , if you are a user of that service PLEASE keep a copie of your personnal emails on your hard drive and enforce the sercurity of your account , because even if you ask for a solution from the answers desk service "Microsoft call center " to get back your emails , they won't be able to help cuz their is none to do ; so please be carefull

ahh one more detail , windows update for windows vista and windows 7 are no longer avaible , microsoft is trying to force all the windows users in the world to get the latest windows 10 , guess why ??

to control everything you do on your computer

I always love posters with low post count and many years under their belt like yourself...
It shows great restraint, in my opinion.

Thanks for the info, simo.
I'll dodge outlook.

Do you have a link I can reference to or has Microsoft failed to acknowledge the problem? I need to understand if this is a widespread issue or an incidental hardware/software issue.

"Microsoft Windows" calls me at least three times a week to inform me of a problem on my computer.

I will ask the friendly chaps next time they call to confirm this new outlook.com feature after I give them my credit card number.

Oh dear, my W7 does no longer get updates? Well, thats good news, as these "I WILL UPDATE NOW AND NO PUNY HUMAN INTERACTION WILL PREVENT ME FROM TAKING OVER 110% CPU TIME!" will finally stop..

Seriously, neither your warning ("Your emails will be deleted and all personal data will be stored for ever!") nor your end-of-updates-news were any new.

Or substantial.
Please give details what and when your emails were deleted, what you did on your computer in that exact situation and what you did afterwards in hard, really concrete-hard details.

Otherwise we just had another "stop using Windows, it will destroy your testicles and beards and will bound you to the friendzone of every woman ever! And you are all troglodytes if you don't follow my advice! I need another fedora for this occasion!"..

Yes, Microsoft is the BAD, we know that. Nearly as bad as Google, Facebook, Amazon, and every other company you ever gave data ever.

TL;DR: Hi and welcome. No bad feelings, we are here to help mercilessly. ;-)

Seems to be widespread. It happened to about 6 people that I know here in Chicago.

A link to their acknowledgement or at least a discussion forum that identifies and describes the issue would be great.

Thanks

their no link because its kept as an inside secret , the server migration to new inteface of outlook.com is going on major scale and the problems are occuring , better keep a copy of your emails until the end of the server migration at least a reply to: eisegesis

Maybe this?

Not everyone who was moved feels as lucky, unfortunately, and once the account is moved, it cannot be moved back to the old interface. This isn't like the migration from Hotmail's interface to Outlook.com where you could switch back and forth between the old and new interfaces - once the account is moved into Office 365, it stays in Office 365. There is no going back.
