Obama cancels meeting with Philippines' Duterte after insult

A couple of days ago Duterte in a press interview called Obama a son of a (think lady of the night) or depending on the translation he called him an SOB all because of the USA criticism over his no tolerance for drug pushers and the 2000+ executions that have been carried out in the Philippines.

I would guess there is a CIA backed coup in his future because the Philippines is a key player in the Asia South China sea (pivot) policies trying to be enforced by the USA.

VIENTIANE: President Barack Obama cancelled what would have been his first meeting with Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte, after Duterte described Obama in vulgar terms, a White House spokesman said on Tuesday.

Duterte, a plain-spoken populist known for his colourful remarks and his campaign against illegal drugs in which thousands of people have died, described Obama as a “son of a bitch” to reporters on Monday, a day ahead of the planned meeting in Laos, where South Asian leaders are meeting for annual summits.

Obama learned about the insult as he emerged from the Group of 20 summit in Hangzhou, China. At a news conference, he said he had told his aides to speak with Philippine officials “to find out is this, in fact, a time where we can have some constructive, productive conversations,” leaving little doubt that the meeting would not proceed as planned.

When I read this story on-line, I laughed and laughed. The one I read said Duterte called him the son of a whore.

Duterte wants to be left alone to complete his agenda ... the one he campaigned on ... and the one his people obviously want to see implemented.

I'm sure 0bama wanted to tell him to leave the Muslims alone ... and Duterte didn't want to hear it.

Obama gets called some names and pouts. Basically, he grabbed his ball and stayed home.

Mexico president called Trump multiple names. Trump takes the high ground and meets with the Mexican president

The Mexican president asked hillary for a meeting, and she passes. She needed to go fund raise. IMHO, she is not well enough to travel and have a full day in public with cameras.

I don't blame the guy, he's been put in an impossible position due to the US and our policies. We've helped push the war on drugs all over the world, furthering the cause of big pharma and others. We infiltrate and help keep the war on drugs strong by playing both sides. In addition every culture is flooded with politicians pushing this same agenda.

The guy can't fight the problems in his country using a court of law, because half his officials are corrupt and part of the problem. Every nation is infested with them. So the guy is at war with the corruption within his government, and on the street, all due to foreign interests and greedy corporations.

He's at war to clean up his country, and he can't rely on trials, and courts to do it, because the elite cockroaches and servants litter the legal system protecting their own and their interests. So he bypasses all that, imprisoning and killing those destroying his country without trial, because a fair trial is impossible because of the plague of corruption that plagues every court of law in damn near every country on our planet.

The entire world is against him, because he's doing what he feels he needs to do, many of his own countrymen love him because they feel he's fighting the people truly responsible for their suffering, but to do it, he needs to skirt the laws and trials we consider a cornerstone of polite society.

He's in a no win situation, and it's one caused by the corruption that's Obama and the US are directly a part of, because the same roaches that plague his government have their most powerful nest here. We are their fortress and army. If I were him I'd insult Obama too. In the end, he'll likely be taken down, the roaches will swarm again, and evil will once again hide under the guise of civility. True evil protected by the court of law that's supposed to be on the side of justice.

I'm not saying the brutality he's using to fight this is a good thing. But I'm not a hundred percent convinced it's wrong either. I'm not sure how else one can fight such an infestation. You can't expect corruption to root itself out work to remove itself from power.

Here's my question. If corruption and special interests that care not for your people litter your streets with drugs and organized crime, and exploit your people and your countries resources for personal gain. If these people are in charge of the very courts of your land, and these people are connected to and protected by the same corrupt people that litter the courts and countries of the world at large. How can you fight them using their court's of law? What civil way is there to act against them?

And it comes as no surprise, Obama is a sad excuse for a man. Not even sure he ever had the balls to handle is own, and doubt he ever will. Attack away just calling em as I see em, no politics here just an observation from a guy that knows a weak guy from a mile away.

I have been to this border town. Scary place and they they do in fact cross the border and commit these crimes in the US. Not sure where you live but probably nowhere near where Mexicans are raping and murdering and smuggling women and raping them. Obama and Hillary ignore it.

Not sure why anyone would want to meet with Obama anyway. Any agreements for head of state meetings are made in advance by diplomatic officials. Though they are usually finalised at the meeting itself, the meeting is usually just a camera opportunity.

Regardless, Duterte is a cool guy.
