Why do people spew such BS claims?

I have yet to meet someone legible to vote that makes that true.

No lame woman or man is eligible - so it's over. They can vote for their gender-mate
out of emotional need, but it doesn't matter.

Face the facts. Feminists support HRC, not because they like her, but because they hate men. So, its as much a vote against men as it is a vote for HRC.

Not complicated.

That is so juvenile.

Feminists are about freedom and equality for women.

What does freedom and equal rights for women have to do with hating men? Nothing.

Are there radical feminist, just like there are radicals in almost every movement? Sure. They DO NOT represent all women.

No, I'm not voting for Hillary just because she's a woman.

I'm not really sure if that's still the case.

There has to be a reason why more and more support equality, yet fewer and fewer identify as feminist.

Most women IMO do identify as feminist. They just don't push the term.

Which makes perfect sense considering the type of "neanderthal" response you often get (ATS is an example).

I'm just going off a poll I read where 82% support equality yet only 20% identified as feminist in the states.

It may be a loaded term that people avoid however I think it's more an outdated concept.
The success of the feminists who fought for equality back in the day have robbed the feminists of something to fight for today (at least in the west), leading to a caricature of one of the most successful social movements ever.

When a man can hit a woman without the stigma attached true equality will be had, however I'm not sure that is something that anyone actually wants.

What is the reason you would vote for her, though?

I would assume something along the lines of the "lesser of two evils"?

I personally wouldn't vote for either of them, but I think Hillary exhausts me the most with whichever lie of the month she is doing gymnastics around.

If I was running the Clinton campaign, I'd be pushing this fact.....

Trump pays women considerably less in his organization.

It's not just feminist that would find this unacceptable.

Civil/Equal Rights (race, gender, LGBT, age), 100% separation of church and state, Globalist.

"Make America Great AGAIN?" (Again? Like it was 100 years ago? - - you don't go backwards.)

NO! Instead progress America to be more competitive in the Global market.

To continue to try to hold on to isolationism is ridiculous.

It is not an outdated concept.

Women still do not have equality. Even though many on ATS claim they do.

Women need to fight for and support women. They're not going to get equality any other way.

But, that does not mean I'd vote for Hillary just because she's a woman. It might give a little edge, but so would a Christian Fundamentalist have an edge with other Fundamentalists.

HuffPo backing up my bs claim I guess

damn facts...

btw, this is exactly why the progressive toxic parasite is destroying liberalism. its the anti-fact, anti-science, pro moral enforcement by the top right down to the foot soldiers corrupting all things that used to be about the persuits of enlightenment, discussion, and knowledge.

now its just a social sludgefest with regressive cultists baseing their views on skintone and genitals...aka, its 1952, just with the scope pointed at different targets..same mentality.

If you are a liberal, wake up and note these "pro"gressive parasites infiltrating and destroying the very concept of liberalism.
And if you are a "pro"gressive....you wont win.

You're not a woman, are you.

As far as men hitting women - - women tend to (primarily) be smaller, with less muscle mass then men.

That would be a bully - - sex is not the issue.

Would I condone a female body builder smacking around a smaller man? Hell no. That's bully behavior - - sex has nothing to do with it.

More twisting of reality I see.

Trump pays women on his staff more than Hillary pays women on her staff on average, and Trump pays men more than Hillary does.

yup

I guess what we can take from this is Trump respects both men and women more than Hillary.

That is so juvenile.

Feminists are about freedom and equality for women.

Both achieved in the west in 1963.

What are women who identify themselves as feminist now in the west fighting for? what laws specifically?

There is every legal framework in place. but feminism is pushing for something.
When they achieve equality, and they have, what exactly are they pushing for now...in America...

And why is it many feminist organizations are now championing islam...a literal rape culture patriarchy.

I, an egalitarian, am very confused as to what feminism is doing in the west now..seems you only ever hear about them when they are moaning about wanting to condemn art and entertainment, going to the UN to try to make the internet "safe" for women from the hatred of disagreeing or calling them a liar, etc.

no, feminists dont hate men..or rather, the average unaware female who has no clue what feminism is outside of Beyonce danced under a sign that said it and otherwise it doesn't mean much....something about equal pay or some such..but hopefully the bar down the street wont cancel ladies night, or the tradition of men buying the women a drink, or paying for the first date, etc etc goes away. (fun irony..most tween feminists are also super on board with the cultural norms of men and women as stated)

But there are plenty of feminists..leaders of the hardcore movement that was being pushed since the 70s..the sex negative man hating ones who directly influence the big names of feminism today.

And back to the original question...in the west..in America and UK...what is the current goal of feminism?
Followup question
Why is feminism (female being key in the word) considered a good thing, but feminists hate the term egalitarianism..a gender neutral term that literally means simple equality amongst people regardless of race, gender, etc

You are a clever woman. I know you see the issues here. I did a few years back even when I used to ignore and push it...but eventually I had to be honest and dig a bit..no..its a pointless group now simply meant to cause division..mostly pushed by people who have a vested career interest in keeping such things alive..university professors of gender studies needing to somehow find oppression to validate their paycheck.

This is very hard to achieve in that globalist system that allows big corporate to freely send jobs to Mexico, though, isn't it?

I'm just not going to do this again.

I know the male lean on ATS.

Its juvenile to claim feminists hate men.

I did not say it was easy or didn't need changes.

But, IMO - - - forward is the only way to go. And that's Globalism.

However, back to original question "Why would I vote for Hillary?"

Do you see Trump in anything I support?
