Could the thread title rules be changed?

From a documentation point of view I think that using the original title is a good idea, as it's easier to find the source and other sources that copied the same title and it's easier for people trying to post the same thing to find them.

That's a good counter argument which I don't really have a come back for. I suppose I'll retract the suggestion then.

This is true.
The only ATS forum that requires the source title is Breaking Alternative news.

All threads in other forums have titles that are at the discretion of the OP...and the T&C.
