People are not doing real protests against those things, but they are going to take some action over the election.

You just never can tell about those bleeping sheep. It probably wouldn't be too rowdy...more like a refractory period, while they wait to be told how to think and act next. But judging by a lot of the behavior of people these days, it is quite possible that some of them will throw a pretty impressive tantrum. I guess we'll just have to wait until his prediction comes true to see how they react. Not too much longer.

I think soon after the election there will be incidents which be blamed on the Alt-Right movement, it doesn't matter what they are really about, Hilldog and the media will repaint the picture over and over again. I am not voting for Clinton or Trump, so please don't interpret this as me defending her. (Especially since I agree with Sublimecraft re: Sanders...)

What I find intriguing is that within a few days of one another, we've had several topics claiming the fix was in for a Clinton victory, and that Clinton would be dropping out soon and that was being hushed up. Well, which is it? And why are both scenarios so popular on ATS and so emotionally galvanizing? Could it be that the outrage - or glee - depending on which side you're on in response to both scenarios is the whole point and the payoff for "TPTB" in this game of mirrors we call an election?

Embedded resentment and feelings of "this shall not stand" are very powerful reservoirs of political capital, if you know how to exploit them. And it seems both sides just keep coming back for more of it every four to eight years.

Just something I wonder about at times. Just musings.
