Here's how my theory goes. Donald Trump knows exactly what he's doing. He has no intention of becoming President of the United States. His main points are stronger authortity figures/ immigration policy. He knows he's right, and he's fooling all of his supporters.

He is laying the carpet for Hillary Clinton, so she can take after the Obama administration. They want open-door policies, and they will continue "multiculturalism" as they have been for decades. Yes, we are all immigrants except Native Americans. But, just because we have done, means that we should continue to do?

So why not compare the mixed nation of Australia? Because they only have 22 million citizens.

Can we just start a conversation based on our feelings now? I thought content in this forum had to show supporting links, and such. Moderators..can we all start creating threads based on our hunches, feelings, and theories, like MousyGretchen?
Please advise. Tks.

Moderators, please trash thread now if you must, and know that I will not make such an opinion based thread regarding real life events again.

Please, Please not another warning.

No , incoorect. If you performed the necessary steps to enter the country legally , you are now a US citiizen. No longer an "immigrant"

Migrant workers do dirtier work, work longer hours and for less pay. While Big Agro earns the Fed looks away.

The wall is an illusion for your mind. In fact I hear its really a hologram.

the wall is not an illusion, in Hungary it works better than expected. And we are not talking abount a concrete wall there, just a bunch of nets and barbed wire.

I honestly think that's for people in the cities. Not trying to bash anyone, but all the "dirty" jobs that "Americans won't do".....are the very jobs country folk do all day long. As a preteen and teen, I hauled hay for farmers 12 hours a day. Sunburned and exhausted was a normal day. I cut weeds out of bean fields, clipped the teeth on piglets, endless hours detasseling corn and whatever needed doing. That is still Summer jobs for kids around here and all over farm country.
Immigrants aren't doing anything "dirty"....just an every day job that folks in the city think is dirty.

Once again, not trash talking city people.

What I meant by illusion is the wall is an illusion for the American people that expect their government to protect their jobs and way of life.

Meanwhile the drugs and migrant workers flow non stop. Tunneling under, flying over, sailing around or bribing guards at the gate.

You tell me how effective the wall is, other than in your mind.

They don't call them migrant workers for nothing. During harvest they need more than usual. Migrant workers move farm to farm. Then to the stock yard and meat packing, then back for planting season. Meanwhile their wives are doing maid work and service industries.

At the end of their day they drop dead tired at the finish line.

Ever see Fast Food Nation?

We would't need walls if Mega corp stopped providing slave jobs.

It's the social circle, all over and over again. To beat one, you have to terminate the other, and vice versa.

My experience is different. I experienced the farm workers strikes under Cesar Chavez, also saw the transition from Americans working the farms to migrant workers.

I had coworkers in the electronics industry back in the late 70s and 80s that said the wage to pick lettuce all day was the same as a digital tech.

Those days are long gone. The striking farmworkers are gone, the wages are gone, and up goes the wall. Because all the other people back in Mexico have heard if they can just get across the border. there is guaranteed employment in the US of A.

You need a wall like the Israeli's if you are going to do the job properly. Twice as high as the Berlin wall with loads of watch towers and CCTV linked to command centres. If the cost of manning it is an issue maybe you can let some of your Patriots do the job as volunteers

Do the job? What if truckloads of drugs and immigrant workers are let through the gates, on purpose?

There lies the problem for the Trumpleton folk doesn't it. Israel's population is pretty much 100% united in support of the wall so it works. USA opinion is too fragmented it seems, you need a 100% will of the people to make it work. I suppose you could let the workers in for the morning then make them leave in the evening like Israel does to keep big business happy

Not sure about any comparisons to Australia, but the Trump/Clinton Campaigns might be classic Hegelian Dialectic.

Globalism is the main goal with TPTB.

They can't tolerate any powerful singular nations.

They have already achieved a global central bank system.

Society/Culture is their next focus.

My problem with a 'like Israel' policy is that it stems from religious hatred and persecution. It 'works' because they hate the Palestin-- (I mean Gazans), are eager to kill them, hell, bomb them if necessary. Their wall is complete with a no mans 'shoot to kill' zone.

Ad you know what? Even with all that, It still isn't total. The tunnels are still being dug to smuggle in embargoed supplies and arms in the south along the border with Egypt.

The history of walls is a history of failed Empires and their total control freak natures.

Good riddance.
