Wow
I can't believe how many people in this thread are advocating ignorance as a valid solution.
Lets just stick our heads in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist?
Now, there is a difference between fear mongering and keeping the public informed. I can't argue that the MSM isn't fear mongering, because they do. But not reporting on terrorism incidents is no kind of solution.
With that logic we can end racism, poverty and Govt. corruption if we just don't look at it.
I personally want all the information I can get so I can make well informed decisions. But that's just me, I do crazy things sometimes.

While certainly not the solution to the problem it IS a valid step. Terrorists spread fear. Why be their PR arm?
They don't mind the MSM Reporting on Nationalism or Racist/Hate crimes attacks do they? If you can't see the agenda behind NWO Kerry's statements, then not sure what to tell ya.
How bout the MSM and the government just start saying people were killed due to a unicorn that mistakenly huffed some paint? /sarcasm

I thought I was the only person who surmised he was suggesting the terrorists thrive on, expand and benefit greatly from repetitive, non-stop, mass media exposure.
That's not to say it should not be quickly and briefly acknowledged, but it is turned into a graphic, mass trauma, ritualistic meme and imprint by the U.S. media in my view.

And from the same News source. "Grandmother undergoes Stunning Revenge Makeover", Plus the latest on Tori Spelling and that fake Bill Clinton/Hillary blackface pic.
Oh Brother, you really dig deep.

I absolutely believe John Kerry is an imbecile, but the idea of not giving terrorists carte blanche media access has a lot of merit. I think the attacks need to be reported on, BUT manifestos, claims of credit, and videos of their mouthpieces shouldn't be aired. It's patently ridiculous that 10 seconds following any attack of any nature the media parrots "No group has yet claimed responsibility" followed up an hour later with "ISIS took credit for the attack by celebrating it on their Twitter feed."
On the same side, the media shouldn't be so goddamned gung-ho to report every police involved shooting, nor should they give Americans acting like fools in "protests" turned riots a camera and mic to speak into.
America's media, owned and controlled by the same forces that own and control America's government officials, seriously needs to be brought down and beaten into submission, to be replaced with actual independent media.
