Until we all get our crap straight I couldn't imagine wanting to live that old.
Even if you managed to I'd think the greater majority of people that old would be crippled in one form or another. It's rare for someone to hit 100 and not have a lot of problems.

This is amazing, i mean imagine saying to the person "hey, which were your fave decades, 70s 80s or 90s" and the reply being "which ones, the 18's or the 19's century's?"

Yes, I think it is genetic. And also - Indonesia. I don't know what their air quality, agriculture, or water quality is ---- I'd also like to know what he did as a job.

Smoking is not as horrible as the AMA tries to make it. It's kind of like everything else --- it makes some people sick, and others are not affected adversely by it.

Also - just a related tangent ---- we have a contributing member now called SentientCentenarian who is, in fact, 100 years old. I, for one, am ecstatic to have "wisened minds" here. It's so refreshing, and such a precious resource.

Yup, probably because they are living closer to nature.

He was born in 1870... that's crazy if true.
He would have also been in contact with people or been around people who were born in the 1700's.... pretty crazy
