Is Gore a republican?
There is an “absolute necessity of waging all-out war against the debauching of the environment… The bulldozer mentality of the past is a luxury we can no longer afford. Our roads and other public projects must be planned to prevent the destruction of scenic resources and to avoid needlessly upsetting the ecological balance.” This probably sounds like Al Gore, Barbra Streisand, or Ralph Nader. In fact, these words were uttered by Governor Ronald Reagan. At the time, he was signing into law one of the most aggressive environmental protection statutes ever passed up to that point.

Clinton just had a major melt down spending her entire speech on Alt-Right conspiracy involving Trump, Putin, Duke, Alex Jones and Nigel Farage.
i think she is officially triggered and is now hiding in her safe space.

Anyone with half a brain probably understands my posts as intended. Sadly...
Aren't you "out"?
It doesn't even take half-a-brain to see your blatant dishonesty.
But thanks for making it clear who's participating in ad hominem attacks here.
But at its grassroots, the alt-right is animated by many of the same class, gender and racial anxieties that have helped fuel right-wing nationalist movements across Europe and, as Trump's critics argue, the Republican nominee himself.
In late March, Breitbart published something close to a manifesto. Titled "An Establishment Conservative's Guide To The Alt-Right," writers Allum Bokhari and Milo Yiannopoulos presented the movement as an intellectually vibrant -- in contrast with "1980s skinheads" -- band of merry right-wing pranksters "eager to commit secular heresies" while striking out at political elites, regardless of their party affiliation.
They exist almost exclusively online, talking to each other on alt-right blogs and select reddit or 4chan forums. To the extent a "normie" -- alt-right and web slang for a normal person -- is likely to encounter them, Twitter has emerged as the preferred avenue for the harassment and trolling of assorted rivals, enemies and other targeted groups, often women and Jews.

You go right ahead and excuse and justify someone being a kkk member.
Go ahead and justify someone calling them a mentor as well.
That reflects on your character.

I didn't justify anyone being a KKK member. I stated the fact that Robert Byrd was in the Klan in the 40s, he left after one year, he denounced his membership and the Klan (and what it stood for) for the last 60 years of his life.
He was a tireless worker for his state in both the House and the Senate.
If Hillary Clinton felt that the man she knew 60 years later was worthy of being called "a mentor" as a champion of public service, that's admirable.
The fact that you try to so utterly misrepresents the facts of this matter says loads about your "character" as well ...
... or more aptly, perhaps, the lack of same.
And he should be, it's all his words and his supporters words. I think a lot of you forget how ignorant and extreme Trump was during the Republican primary. I think you also forget most Democrats hoping for him to win, even though thinking it was impossible, because of how easy it would be to beat him in the General Election due to his ignorant and racist rhetoric he used to win the Primary.
