Load it and scroll to Italy. The blue dots are livetreams. Click on one of those and it should bring up a stream.

Wow, those poor people. Luckily the earthquake hit at night, otherwise there could have been a lot more people hurt.

Sending lots of love to Italy!

The aftershocks continue.

Small, yet shallow.

Not surprised that a few hours before was one in southern italy and 1 in Sicily, part of the same fault. Connected to one South of Portugal earlier.

There was just another after shock

Hopefully they calm down, those poor people. They are already dealing with enough. Every time an aftershock hits, the fear grows exponentially, especially day 1.

Terrible...

What part of Italy is he in roughly? Its like 6 AM there at the moment though. Most of Italy probably hasn't learned of this yet.

It effected a huge swath of Central Italy. Felt in Rome. I would imagine many people up early for various reasons know this happened.

Looking at a map I would say she is safe. Though tomorrow will certainly be a formative and powerful experience I imagine.

Many years ago before we met, my husband vacationed in Perugia province & fell in love with it, it's one of those places he insists I need to see for the beauty alone. He was understandably upset when I told him about this, he visited both Norcia and Amatrice

It's odd to me too...facebook, other than the Italian pages, is strangely quiet about this. One of my Italian friends has not even posted, and she posts constantly about all things Italy related. Her entire family still lives there.
