Pokemon stampede

So a rare Pokemon was spotted in Taipei and the result is crazy. A stampede of people go running one direction.

It looks like everyone in Taipei is playing Pokemon go. This cant be safe.

Could there possibly be a better example of the herd mentality of most people? Chasing a bunch of fake things, right over the cliff. People are walking in front of cars, literally over cliffs, trampling others property, fighting...........
Every day, I see examples that just prove my opinion of the human race is correct: Tying their shoes will be the smartest thing they do all day.

A snorlax in in the wild is actually a pretty big deal. I've been playing since day one and have not seen one in the wild.

Yeah it's a pokemon LOL. A tough one too. Very annoying to fight in gyms as they seem to last forever.

Lots of people play Poko-Go in my town. Never seen a stampede. Is this a result of overpopulation?

Seriously though, imagine all those people with all that free time. Moving in unison to actually accomplish something positive for Their communities, instead of competing with each other for an imaginary pet...

There is nothing wrong with people who play Pokemon Go, although there is a lot of reactionary media featuring the stupid behavior of a small percentage of players (doing stuff like robbing people, resisting arrest, going into hospitals after hours, playing while driving, and other dumb stuff).

For people who use common sense, it's a great way to get exercise and meet people. I've met more strangers in the last month than in the last 3 years. And I'm walking everywhere. The game seems to touch upon some strange hunter-gatherer instinct long supplanted by our modern lifestyle. It's fun.

I've caught two wild Snorlax in my area, one of them a 1600.

Yeah I've met tons of people in my midtown neighborhood while playing this game. When it first came out EVERYONE was playing. I mean everyone, this game got me a table at Rao's, freaking Rao's!!!

My snorlax came from 10k egg... it was 1700 something.
