I think that Mary Magdalene is part of the myth that associates Christianity with the Goddess Artemis. The Essene kept her Temples and were known as "King Bees", and were famous "keepers of the honey", valued for its healing qualities as well as nutrition.

Or maybe the Sumarians copied the bible, they copied the prophecy
That documentary was well debunked but you wouldn't have watched the doco about the debunking, just what confirmed your opinion

So, the Sumerians copied the bible???
But you maybe know when the sumerian civilisation existed?
And when the bible was written?
Little hint, the sumerian civilisation existed around 3500 years before someone created the jesus christ fairy tail.

Another curious thing is:
How do you wanna know which documentary i watched?
There is more than one about that topic.

Didn´t know about clairvoyants on ATS...

Thanks for the links, I'll definitely check it out.

I don't know if there is a connection but I hear bee I think Merovingian, and aren't they the supposed grail bloodline or something?

There is an eastern tradition of Christianity called the book of the bee, I haven't read it yet but I will now!

How could an ancient no longer extant civilization copy from the Bible?

The Bible was not started until after the fall of Babylon, 6-700 BC.

Sumer is THE OLDEST known civilization according to archeologists and other interested parties (although I think Egypt might be older).

That's literally impossible.

That's the funniest thing I will hear today. He says it's been "debunked" yet doesn't know what documentary!!!

Wow, is all I can say about someone like that. Don't worry he has put words in my mouth twice in this thread, nobody is going to take anything a person who does those things seriously so let him figure out on his own his errors and just keep laughing, humor is priceless and I thank him for it.

Ahhh, so she is more important than Jesus I guess

I didn't say that, why are you?

Isn't everyone more important than Jesus

Isn't that the message you want to inspire, why not just say that then rather than all these convoluted story's

That's a hell of an example of reading into things too much and assuming meaning that isn't there.

Yeah oops, my apologies
Just use to be a person called gnosisfaith who use to post strange stuff, never backed it up with anything, kinda wierd

Sounds like someone you would get along with as you do that often like saying that the Sumerians could have copied the Bible. Not only can that not be backed up it's literally impossible.

So what makes you think you are right, had a dream?

And what is the meaning then, what are you saying without saying, what's the point of your comments
How do you want people to respond

Obviously not like me...

The bible describes Magdalene as a follower of Jesus, there were many followers, how do you arrive at this special deified person thingy, I don't see it in the bible at all

Mary was quite contrary in another book, maybe Mary means contrary as well, remember miss muffett, her first name was Mary as well. Maybe Mary Magdalene didn't like spiders

You say some strange stuff and try to relate unrelatable names to draw confused outcomes

I just wondered why

I think I have said all that needs to be said you have something to prove that I am saying anything untrue the burden of proof is yours. Illatu Migdali is from ancient Cannanite tablets and I already said where Magdala A Magdal Mukh is from.

Take this for what you will...

The "virgin" Mary was a hair dresser by the name of Miriam ben Stada.

The Hebrew word for hair dresser is megaddela.

It's entirely plausible that this detail played a role in later scriptures.

I think you are referring to Toledot Yeshu and the Gemara, not exactly reliable as historical documents, not that the Bible is but Magdala means tower, hairdresser is something made up to trash Jesus mom and she wasn't named Magdala.

I think you're a bit off as it's said that Miriam means hairdresser not Magdala and it's a late invented to besmirch definition.

Books. Buy em, read em or Google it with the information I provided.

It's very easy, not even something anyone but you doubts or has asked for proof.

I simply don't care if someone of your manner believes what I said I know I didn't just invent it to make a thread.

Sumerian Kings list and the Cannanite tablets are on Google, have fun learning but I ain't going to do anything for someone who has zero manners and is angry at ... I don't know what but you give off an angry vibe and are very rude and !g&ora6t.

Padawan, if you create a thread and people ask for proof or evidence were you come by an opinion, than the onus is on you to provide.

Ahh. Another rude person with no knowledge to add just petty jealousy in the form of "insults" (I use that word lightly as your not making any sense).

I take your obvious envy and whatever else that was as a compliment. When I feel like doing something I will do it and being a b about it isn't going to change anything so...

Cry, I mean carry, on. Immaturity isn't something that I admire but it is entertaining!!!

Do you need a link to Google so you can fact check me because your interest and inability to provide anything saying that I am not correct is all the proof I need.

K?

Say pretty please with a cherry on top, apologize for your rudeness and immaturity and I will link this m.f. up.

If not I bid you farewell. 😂

Hi. I am only quoting you so you don't delete evidence of your rudeness and immaturity on what was a peaceful and productive thread about a maybe historical Mary Magdalene.

Illatu Migdali and Magdala A Magdal Mukh are recorded in stone and not going anywhere so I will provide whatever you want as proof.

As soon as you say "Sorry I was rude, immature and attempted (poorly but you can leave that part out) to insult you by changing your screen name."

P.S. consider yourself lucky I am not a snitch because I could, if I was, rat you out to a mod.

I love a great mystery, and Mary Magdalene is definitely one of those. Thought by some to be the goddess Sophia there are many other varied interpretations of her identity..I have always been interested in knowing for sure who she truly was...hopefully someday we will find out..

Thanks,
blend57

I just wanted to thank you for your positive response as I have become aware that people are not always so happy to learn something new and actually try insulting people who discover new things and share them with ATS.

I know, it's crazy, but some people can't handle new knowledge and if they were not rude I would have provided links. But THANKS!!!

The Magdala Effect...? xD

Maybe it´s because all of "our" religions are copied from the sumerians?
The names of the "saints" and all that fairy tails characters are almost the same, in sumerian and in "our" religions. Those religious fairy tails are related to the stars, somehow.
If there is a saint and his name begins with M, it´s because of a star constellation that looks like a M.
Don´t know how to explain better, it´s a long time ago that i watched a very long documentary about that stuff.

Yes very possibly true. I just wanted to thank you for your input. I just realized not everyone is comfortable with new knowledge and you were cool so... THANKS!!!!

Apology accepted, I haven't watched Zeitgeist since 2008 and only took the non religious aspects seriously then. He was right about 9/11 and the "Fed'' but not the religion and he singles out Christianity which is not cool.

I would like an apology for the things you DIDN'T apologize for though like calling me a Dan Brown theologian (not a fan and this is not a related topic , I didn't make any claims just provided actual historical information to show Magdala is more important than we are told).

I actually can't stand the guy as he replaces legit conspiracies with fictionalized ones taking credibility from the real ones that plague society.
