Childhood friends

I met you through your family, we fell in love, and all could see.

Deep down I feared it could not be, then I made the mistake of hurting we.

Our lives carried on for 30 years, and I never forgot you and cried many tears.

Dying someday without telling you was my greatest fear;
But heaven has blessed me and now you are near.

I know of your life and I don't care; as long as you're happy and have love my dear.

You are my closest friend in the world, nothing will change that my sweet Steven!

That felt pure and true. Much respect KTemplar. Sometimes we benefit by writing to those we most want to communicate with, and in doing so, we can free ourselves to actually share it with them. I hope this is true for you.
