Isn't it time for a world anthem?

Unity and peace, no borders to hold us in, no color or religious creed to separate us,

No money need change hands, for we are a united world with no monetary endeavors,

We seek kindness and love from each other, bombs and guns have no place in our hearts,

There will be no slavery or abuse of any kind, helping hands are needed,

Hugs and kisses will replace the anger and no one is better than another,

Homeless and hungry are a thing of the past, shelter and food for all is no longer a problem,

Blood of us all the same color, makes no difference, man, women or child,

Only one world, we stand united, hand and hand, together as one.

Why do I get the impression that some people believe the NWO is a good thing?

Why do people not see that the key is not to buy into a narrative that is against the best interests of the people of world.

To buy into and believe in the new world firstly requires the people to believe that those who fund and support the NWO in other ways, know what is best for the people and not the people themselves.

Good luck with that. You can't even get people to help the homeless and hungry on their own streets let alone world wide.

I love it, but it has to be easy to remember. I'd like to propose a variant:

May it be borders, colours or ideas -

Peace is the greater treasure

Weapons destroyed so many hearts -

These are human beings we're talking about. You can't even put 20 people in the same room and have them get along, never mind billions on a planetary scale.

A world nation doesn't have to exist territorially - it can exist idealistically.

There's thousands of them on the same forum, called ATS. Sure, they don't all get along, but most of them nevertheless are capable of having decency (enough to avoid getting banned because of T&C violation) and most of them nevertheless call ATS their home.

Yeah I know its a Kansas song but at the moment I'm deep, deep in the Supernatural zone playing catch up with past seasons. Just finished waching season 6.

Anyway I just thought that the anthem does not necessarily need lyrics. For it to be a truly world uniting anthem it should be purely orchestral.

I think if there is any anthem, we should look to the classics.
