Hillary the animal lover loses a vote from former military K9 handler

Former military K9 handler Eric Bonner says an encounter with then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton led him to never support her for president.

There’s a Facebook post going wildly viral from Eric Bonner, which explains why it’s the little things that truly matter in the interactions people have with one another daily.

The Facebook post from Bonner began with the declaration that Eric is not casting his vote for Clinton. Eric admitted that it was not Hillary’s policies nor her point of view that cost Clinton a vote from Bonner. Eric wrote that it wasn’t even the laws that Clinton purportedly broke that helped Bonner decide that he would not help make Hillary the next President Clinton of the U.S.

Bonner describes what happened during one encounter with Clinton.

One of my Last details was for Hillary when she was Secretary of State. She was in Turkey for whatever reason. I helped with sweeps of her DV Quarters and staff vehicles. Her words to me? "Get that F***ing dog away from me." Then she turns to her Security Detail and berates them up and down about why that animal was in her quarters. For the next 20 minutes while I sit there waiting to be released she lays into her detail, slamming the door in their faces when she's done. The Detail lead walks over apologizes and releases me. I apologize to him for getting him in trouble. His words "Happens every day, Brother"

I think her temper over powers her ability to make rational decisions. What are your thoughts ATS?

Everyone in the military knows she hates us, and the feeling is more than mutual.

All us senior guys that were still in when the Clintons held office remember how she treated the military.

She isn't getting any military votes.

I don't think this matters, if it's even true. People in the military or law enforcement are not a group of mindless, lock-step drones that all think alike and vote alike.

This story only serves as confirmation bias for those that eat it up.

The military is quite united in their dislike of Hillary Clinton. They don't exactly support trump either.

The polls I have seen for the Military vote all branches together is 40% Gary Johnson 30% Trump and 14% Hillary.

I served in the Army. I remember clearly the majority leaning to the right.
I was the oddball left leaning libertarian.

And while I would normally vote for a democrat I would Never ever vote for Hillary.
Leaves me at a loss...

I think this VERY MUCH matters. It shows that she is not an animal lover nor a people person, since she also berated her security people. How is she going to represent us as president, if she doesn’t even like us? Furthermore, Americans love their pets, she doesn't even have enough control of her temperament to pretend she likes them. She seems to be quite adept at lying in just about any other circumstance. But then, I guess, lying doesn't always require temper control, but not pushing the button to launch a nuke does.

I am not saying this is true for sure but if Mr. Bonner is not credible then why was he allowed to bring a dog around a Secretary of State to begin with? There are other sources that say she terrorizes staff as well.

No, on the contrary . . . this is the type of information that shows how she interacts with military, police, and those who help her daily. So yes, this type of thing is important and has the power to sway her current military supporters (or at least the ones not completely wearing blinders).

I've actually said the same thing to people who have unruly or misbehaving dogs... If this is true, it really says NOTHING about Clinton's commitment to promoting animal welfare... Caring about animal welfare doesn't mean a person LOVES all dogs and wants them in their face...

I don't know how she really feels about animals or what her state of mind was that day but I am disturbed she would be so hostile to a dog that could potentially save her life by doing daily sweeps for her. (Shaking head)

That is a completely different thing. We are not talking about an unruly dog here. We are talking about a well trained dog doing a job to protect her. And she not only complains about the dog but continues to berate her personal security detail for doing their job.

NDA's don't just cover "classified" information. They usually prevent employees and security details from talking about anything that happens, at all, regarding the person they're working for, or protecting.

If Hillary Clinton doesn't have people sign NDA's, then she's way behind, considering that security details for even low level celebrities have to sign them.
