So I come back after taking a weekend away from the internet, and find a couple of new threads, I would like to comment on. They appear to be locked (no ability to star and flag or reply). I don't see any "thread is closed" type posts, though that might be several pages back.

So I wonder, did the threads get shut down, with no warning? Did I get pre banned as a "usual suspect" (not an unfair assumption) etc

I am not accusing censoring, rather I am curious as to the two treads.

I see its open again. Can I ask why it was closed, and then reopened? Just a cool down period? It certainly got heated.
