Kaelci, loved the story entry! I'm up way too early and it was nice to wake up to a story finally! I have been so tired and drained lately. No creativity to be found anywhere in my brain. My story remains in limbo for now. But...thank you, I enjoyed that so much!

Hi JinMI! Yes Autumn is near. It is my favorite Season, though I don't care for Winter as it is too long, cold grey and dreary, but I LOVE the Fall! Can't wait to make stuffed pumpkin. YUM!

Took me forever to belt out that story, haha, I wrote the first sentence the other day, but, nothing more would come. And then today I made myself do it... I knew it would put a smile on your face.

It's been a few days since I left the shed and have now returned..
I left to continue my quest in finding a way back to londinium.

I walked for 2 days through a thick forest which seemed never ending. The canopy was so thick that it allowed very little sunlight through and appears to be night even throughout the day.
I hadn't slept and had eaten no food and drank the very little water I was carrying.

The forest seemed strange to me, there were no signs of life and no diversity in the trees and plants. Everything looked the same, as if I was walking the same mile, over and over again.
Finally I came to a clearing In the woods.. Which in the centre was a frail hooded figure.. That of an elderly lady.

This obviously was a strange situation so I gripped my sword and approached cautiously. The air had a musty smell which was stronger the closer the lady was to me.
I called out "hello"
My voice echoed for what seemed an eternity. The lady did not reply. I called out again.. Same, no response.

I circled around her so I could see her face as I was approaching from behind. As I reached the side of her, she seemed to be in a strange hypnotic type state.
The lady had the kindest face I had ever seen, but showed no signs of life even though she was standing and her eyes were open.
I had now reached the front of her and we are standing face to face.. I speak again.. "can you hear me"
No response nor any movement, the lady didn't even appear to be breathing. Her gaze just staring at the ground, without even a blink.

I put my hand out to touch her.. Just as my hand is within 1 cm from her, suddenly without any movement she is staring into my eyes..

Startled I jump back and draw my sword..

How is everyone today? It's a lovely day here in the UK and will take the kiddies to the park.
Was camping at the weekend which wasn't great, had strong winds and torrential rain.. The kids loved jumping in the muddy puddles but mum and dad didn't enjoy the clean up after..
At least they enjoyed it, which is what the purpose of the trip was..

I had a girlfriend who did that to me once. We went out to eat at a Mexican place for my birthday. She got up and went to talk to somebody who worked there. I should have known something was up. All these people come over and start singing happy birthday in Spanish. I wanted to disappear lol. At least I didn't have to wear a hat.
