Because Hills and the US government were gun-running out of Benghazi and needed to hide those skeletons before the troops could be sent in. The timing was terrible and Ambassador Stevens was raped and murdered (along with others), and their corpses dragged through the streets as trophies.

A F-grade movie was blamed for the whole shebang until it became evident that was a lie and it came down to selective and controlled negligence.

They were more worried about the upcoming (2012) elections.

It was just a few weeks before the election in 2012. Obama didn't want this clouding his re-election bid.

So he allowed 4 people to die so he could get re-elected.

I think the larger question would be, "How was Chris Stevens involved with Hillary and what did he do to piss her off that required allowing or even orchestrating an act of such extreme prejudice?" From the old reports I seem to remember that Stevens was alive for hours, tortured and abused, possibly even raped.

Right, but what Im tired of and what the report did is make excuses for the administration. There are no excuses! There is only self-preservation. And THAT is what really happened, thats why they didnt intervene.

I believe Stephens was part of a secret mission that was involved with gun running working for Hillary and our US government with plausible deniability...You know if something goes down "we deny knowing what you were doing so the United States can not be implicated!! And the guns were being given to to the side of the terrorists to fight a proxy war that would help oust Assad...This is my thoughts on the matter.....I also believe Stephens was either prev. Special Forces or present CIA working in a covert capacity cause NOTHiNG about what that lying pant suit said makes any sense!! and Panetta is her lackey!

Of all the lies and dirt on her this one makes me the sickest!!
