We see alot of the Coast Guard HH-65's flying around but seldom in pairs
One was doing sling training the other just potting around. Also I'm assuming is a former CA ANG C-130 that is being parked on the far end of the
runway.
Got past Mojave a couple times this week. Caught the NASA Global Hawk the first time by, going into Edwards. The bigger catch was the first engine
run of the Stratolaunch. They had her sitting outside the hangar, with one of the ARFF trucks sitting parked in front of her monitoring.
It was cool getting to see it again. I couldn't figure out why it was sitting sideways like that, but then I saw the truck, and when I saw it, I
figured out what was going on. Very cool to see it running engines. Now if I can just catch the taxi test.
Depends on which way it's taking off. If it's heading towards Edwards, I can park in town and catch it. If it's going away from Edwards, it's a lot
harder.
Caught this C-17 Departing Moffett Field this afternoon. Of interest it was initially parked in the NE Ramp behind hangers 2 and 3. Its only visible
on the trail that runs behind the runways. It pulled out after a bit and turned left down the East parallel taxiway. There is a bit of a departure
from what I'm used to seeing it used the B ramp onto 32R and took off from there. I typically see them go all the way down to the end of 32R and the B
ramp means they loped off almost a third of the 9200 foot runway. Not that it it needed it mind you. After takeoff the aircraft turned south.
On the NE Ramp

Surprised the hell out of me. I thought it was the KC-30 at first. Then it was heading out so I thought we only got a couple shots of it. I glanced
over at Edwards and it was right next to us.
