Whats ur opinion on visitations? Like if there are UFOs constantly watching us what for? Are we an experiment and it would be kind of weird for your experiment to shot you down while watching.
Visitations? More like a covert operation of mass lunacy....

The one thing that stands out from all the reports, is virtually all are unique. Sure, there are some stories that follow a story line, but lead no where for the researcher. I suspect this is by design, to thwart any real discovery, at least, in anyone persons life time. Baffle with BS, one generation after the other, and on and on and on. Icubisis and sucubisis or plane old grays doing experiments? How many BS stories do we have to read to realise the smell of BS?

Wow iv seen read anything on that. In which ways was it self inflicted?

Sometimes I wonder if it's all made up but it just can't be........ but yes it is funny how no matter what happens no one that would try to let that information out or to help humanity can never prove these events to actually happen.

I can agree on no matter what happens the first question a government would ask is "can this be used as a weapon?"

Visitations, observations.. yes sounds familiar

I would believe they are not one they are many some united some not.
The united ones could have seeded this planet with lifeforms and manipulated DNA to create a planet size zoo.
A zoo that they can observe and analyse.. life, death, war, love..
Perhaps perhaps a faded photograph of their own distant past, like if we recreated neanderthals humans and observed them, observe our past to learn about our now and future.
That would make "them" us in a distant future.. or should I say distant past as they seeded life on earth millions of years ago, and while we where evolving they had a million years in advance.

Someday we will complete the cycle and we will seed a planet and we will become the watchers.

Perhaps one of the "many" contacted us, a deal was made, tech was exchanged, perhaps one of the "others" did not know of this exchange and was surprised in Roswell

Before our space program was defunded to its current anemic state our success rate was marginal when sending probes to other planets(Mars comes to mind)...but it was getting better...

Now let's imagine a race of beings who have a few thousand years head start....or, even better, a few thousand million years head start....a race of beings 1 billion years older than homo sapiens would have interstellar technology unfathomable to our minds...

Although nothing in the expanse of space is a foregone conclusion we can be fairly sure a race of beings who have a technological head start of a few thousand years would be capable of feats unimaginable to our current human scientific sensivilities...let alone a few million or a few billion years...

So, while there is a chance a probe or even a ship with beings has crashed on earth or the moon or Mars it is HIGHLY improbable due to the fact that in order to get here they would have already overcome obstacles we cannot begin to fathom..
Not the least of which would be dealing with OUR pesky laws of physics....
It is entirely feasible that a massively advanced race would have long since overcome gravity and all interstellar "obstacles" we cannot begin to fathom...
I doubt a civilization established 1 billion years ago has not overcome light speed as well...

Heck, if I was gonna take a guess, I would argue that beings of such high intelligence exist right now in the universe that they can alter the stars...
Maybe even turning them into perfectly repeatable blinking beacons saying "here I am".....but that just a little pet theory of mine...
The most obvious form of communication (and currency) in the universe is light so why not use this most obvious of platforms to meet your neighbors...it's what I'd do but I'm a simple Texan so what do I know

Man I love your ideas, one can only speculate. I could see us making our own environment to see how a human with no given intelligence would think, would he make up a god to explain occurences? Or would he create science? In a closed environment a god can be faked by a outside source.

Kinda hard to believe they have mastered interstellar travel, warp fields or worm holes and can't figure out simple gravity.

Wow haven't thought of any of that. It's kind of like the war of the world's movie. How can something so smart and powerful enslave us just to fall ill to the common cold, but that could be plausible in its own way. Can something be so smart it forgets common knowledge and makes a mistake?

No. If Aliens have the tech to travel through space they have the tech to analyze any planet they encounter. Even our satellites can tell everything going on on earth. Aliens would have superior tech to our satellites. Anyone that thinks an alien craft would crash on Earth is either trying to separate the ignorant from their money or is delusional.

And really... Shot down Aliens? They can traverse space but not handle our primitive weapons? Seriously?

I feel this way as well but who knows, you would think even if they were shot down that would have defence against something like that but maybe they are peaceful and war is human thing.

Thanks and and yes
We do the same experiments with monkeys

It only takes a tiny miscalculation in time for a ufo to crash, right?

Imagine a ufo was on its way to the Earth at the start of their interstellar stage, and they set out when the Earth was basically just starting the industrial revolution. They could have spent 200 years in getting here and in the meantime we invented radio, the internal combustion engine, resistors, transistors, computers and nuclear power...

And all because their telescopes detected life on a planet.

I'd imagine their materials would be similar to what we have ... metallurgy and such can only go so far.
Our weapons might be "primitive", but if they hit something it'll certainly do damage to anything.

Greetings- I'm thinking they tried to save something of value and in 'cutting corners' "They" used parts from China. I'm typing about China in the 40s so imagine the inferior purity of the material used. This was before the Chinese made the real cool stuff You see on the shelves of ChinaMar... Walmart™

I'd guess the actual Primary Collision Factor (PCF) Weight of transport vehicle (craft) was incorrect due to the added weight of the metal 'Lead' (Pb) being 38% composition of the paint. The paint was also from China.

This of course explains the whole "missing link" thing so try and keep it to Yourself or be thought an idjit, if We lived in a society where You were free to move about the cabin, then I'd type "text a friend" but sadly We aren't there yet.

Now if You talk w/Rami He is going to try and tell You that this is after a shift of the axis off of the 37th parallel and that it also is foretold in the Mahabharata don't believe Him.. I've gotten up to page 33,278 or about 1/4 through and I haven't read about this particular one ....yet. Oh, this thing is riddled with stories about space and everything else.. Hold on, maybe hold up on dis-agreeing with Rami..

Stay Hydrated...

Wow good assumption I like that one. Maybe it was a miscalculation and didn't realize how intelligent we have become and how are inventions could affect there space craft. My thing is just because they can travel through space is that really a point to say they are so much smarter maybe were not to far off from this feat.

Wow iv seen read anything on that. In which ways was it self inflicted?
It comes from the Roswell alien video of the autopsy. Im not going to argue whether it was real or not, and quite besides the point. But while watching I noticed the damage on one of their legs. It was as though something was fired downwards at its own leg. Self inflicted. And if what is said about the grays is true, that being that they are really nothing more than bio bots that are programmable, then programming one to spew lies and even shoot itself down is not out of the realm of possibilities. Besides, dropping a loaded gun into the monkey cage can be extremely funny, that is until someones eye is put out. But maybe that was the intention all along. " Let them kill themselves, it would save us the trouble", says the Zoo keepers........

but yes it is funny how no matter what happens no one that would try to let that information out or to help humanity can never prove these events to actually happen.
And that my friend, is the absolute sin in all of this.

Yes I feel the same way. I think it's fair to say that the minerals that we know of in the universe and on our planet, would be found on other planets. Just combinding two materials can change the physical strength.
