Assistant Chief Russ Hamill of the Montgomery County Police told reporters Thursday that two bodies were found in the ruins and that the scene would be handled as a “death investigation.” The identity of one of the bodies has led some to speculate, especially following the revelations about murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich this week.
“No bodies have been identified at this time,” the police chief told surrounding media. “It is very likely that DC staffers, including political types, live in this building.”

So a building where DNC staffers live gets blown up...nothing to see here folks let's move on
Residents of a Washington apartment complex where two people died after a massive explosion say they 'smelled gas' in the days leading up to the deadly blast.
Along with the two people who were killed, several remain missing and at least 34 were injured in the incident shortly before midnight on Wednesday.
In the wake of the explosion in Silver Spring,Maryland, shocked locals have hit out at authorities for ignoring their calls about alleged 'gas leaks' near the building.
'I've been smelling gas for weeks. I called 911, they came and told us it smelled like incense,' Adrian Boya told the NBC Washington. 'That's pretty sad. It's like they didn't take us seriously.'

See my previous post. It's bad when the Daily Mail is the more credible source.

There we go, the actual story and no mention of one of the fatalities allegedly being a DNC staffer.
Who wooda thunk?

I wonder if all the folks who flagged this bothered to actually read and/or investigate the claims?
Research used to be a thing.

during election season, logic and common sense flies out the window.
but if the speculations are true , then we should all be concerned.
this is a bit beyond just a presidential race, I don't think who ever would be pulling the strings would be careless or so conspicuous.
but so far it was just negligence that led to the explosion
