The again, Im not sure you can post videos there that show up independently of the feed, like you do on a persons page if you know what I mean.

Whoever posted the vid to their page and asked them whats on the go with it posted it as a comment to something CERN posted on their page to bypass that restriction by the looks of it.

Edit: Pretty tactical .. He chose a post by them with a high share count and 777 likes on it.. the recent ones have low shares and likes. Not bad.. Not bad at all

Yes, the Threefold Law, or Law of Three. It holds that every single action carries intent, and the energy of that intent will return (usually, but not always) to the originating point of that intent, and will also reflect the same energy that was used, good or bad, dark or light, to power the intent in the first place.

This Law governs every one of us, no matter what faith we practice. It is known, too, as the Law of Attraction. Dharma and Karma. There are many references to this that are used commonly; Be careful what you wish for/Do unto others/Pretty is as pretty does/You can't catch flies with vinegar...to name a few. All derived from the same concept: that what we put out there is exactly what we will get in return.

It is a reminder that once a bell has been rung, it cannot be un-rung. So we must be careful of which bell we strike, lest it be discovered later that it was the wrong one. Often, the most damage results from the most innocuous intent, which is the concern here if this is indeed a prank.

It is also entirely possible that nothing could happen to them at all, or something so insignificant that it would go unnoticed. But personally, the idea of any ritual being performed as well as this one...in the presence of the energy already being generated on a routine basis inside that Collider...does not sit well with me.

One consideration, however unlikely it may be, is...what if the circumstances were just right enough for these people to actually summon something, even though they did not intend to do so? It's not as if there'd be a giant puff of smoke and a drumroll and then *Poof!*, heeeeeeeeere's Beelzebub! I'm being silly, but I'm serious too. It's just a really bad idea to play around with stuff like that, no matter what the motivation may be.

I remember back wheN india gave them the statue they did an opera and even performed thr dance of shiva in the facility. My guess is this was part of that movie. The physisist had alot of fun with the shiva statue. If I recall it even included a big ceremony the night of the unvailing

It is a ritual done by ignorant kids for the simple reason that shiva(even in this Nataraj form) does not require any sacrifices and never did. The nataraj is an artful depiction symbolizing the cosmic cycles of creation and dissolution. For hindus, it is areminder that nothing lasts and there is no point to be attached to the material world. Each element comprising the nataraj has symbolic significance. It has to do with the self, ego, limits of the human consciousness and many other things open to interpretation. The kinds of things that will come to you only if you bother to try to meditate on it. The only demon that exist is the one that the nataraj is standing on. They could have done this same "invented ritual" in front of their tv and it would not have made any difference. The cycles of creation and destruction is everywhere, even in our own bodies.

I sent a few messages to some people at CERN. I will report back if any of them respond.

Watched the video without sound on (because the gf is asleep behind me). Just a couple quick questions, though:

1. Did this REALLY take place in front of CERN? There's an actual statue of Shiva at CERN?? Kinda odd if true, but OK.

2. WHY is a Hindu "god of destruction" erected in front of CERN, of all things?

Having worked on facilities far more classified than this, I can tell you with some confidence that the worst that will happen is a stern "Don't do that again, seriously. It was funny once, now knock it off."

Scientists have better senses of humor than they've been given credit for, and I can tell you that CERN and its cohorts are well aware of all the stories and fear around it.

Disagree, I've worked in lesser classified areas of a classified site and known people fired, removed from the premises for emailing home or even the most remote childish behaviour. Basically if this happened on a nuclear Site, were tens of thousands of people work heads would ROLL.

Everyone is replaceable when it comes to things like this.
