The simple fact is 99% of us on this board will never do anything that even comes close to matching the accomplishment of becoming president of the united states.
Thats why I find it so amusing when people here call him stupid.

I'm sure I'll never amass the millions and millions of the Olsen twins, nor their global celebrity, but that doesn't mean they (at least one of them) are the sharpest crayons in the box. There are PLENTY of stupid rich people...can you say Paris Hilton? I knew you could.

NEVER understimate the power of LUCK, Who you know, etc.

true gaz, however the olsen twins are famous because thier parents got them into acting early, paris hilton is rich because of her family, while bush is also wealthy as a result of his family he was not born or appointed president. He was smart enough to convince the voters to elect him twice, which makes him about twice as smart as John Kerry in my estimation.

Regarding Mr Bush, take him to the test, and before international comision to prove or disaprove, if don't do that everyone has the right to guess and has opinion. Only after the test we can say what is true.

Even if he fails on the test that doesn't mean he is bad (or boring) person.
I think he is a wonderful person, and whoever likes to have a few drinks with a friends, too is a wonderful person.

but hey if it makes you feel important to insult the president of the United states go ahead, but I thought you didn't sink to that level.

However don't blame it for exercising my rights to voice my views of the president remember it was not you I insulted but you insulted me.

Its always a bad apple that will raised to power and destabilized the world, evil man do rise to power to from time to time.

What makes this Raelian guy think High IQ(150+) is going to vote for the right candidate which means around 98% of the population will not be allowed to vote. I think there is little correlation between IQ and what kind of policies, morals and values you uphold. Hitler was said to have a very high IQ, and he endorsed extreme racism.

It's not a good idea at all. Then again, I wouldn't expect more from a cult leader - I am the chosen one - loon.

You obviously didn't watch the same debates I did, hehe....
If the people did actually re-elect Shrub (which I'm not so sure they did), they did so out of fear, choosing security over freedom.

Granted, Kerry wouldn't have been my first choice either, but I pretty much would have gone with Morris the cat over Dubya... I firmly believe that in the next 4 years, Bush will do a lot of damage to this nation. I'd love to be proven wrong, but so far, I'm not impressed....

I'm still not convinced he DID convince the electors to elect him twice...as BOTH elections have tell tale signs of extensive fraud, which is a MUCH more important issue than who or who didn't win. I really hope he DID honestly get re-elected...because the alternative is just too damned scary to realize...

IF we actually do get a vote in 2008, I'm going Libertarian...

EDIT: Excellent commentary there Indigo Child...

And no marg i did not insult you, it was a generalised comment which was not directed at anyone poster in particular. However I still find it interesting that you can dish it out but you cant take it. typical liberal, you only attack defenseless targets.

Ahh but then again gaz it was Kerry's choice to run the campaign he did, and Bush's choice to run his. It can be argued that by deciding to make the election about fear he made the smarter choice.

So I will tell your world for it, if you like.

However I still find it interesting that you can dish it out but you cant take it. typical liberal, you only attack defenseless targets.

By the way a president is a public figure and when he became one his is for the grabs, he is not defenseless so don't even bring that in like he is a littler child, not child will kill have thousands die in an unjustified war.

So tell me what other "defenseless target I got with my attacks" it wasn't you.

However how do you know I am a "liberal" unless I said before I consider me one, you are assuming that anybody that is not in favor of the president is a liberal.

So I have the right to again voice any views against the present administration and post what I feel, without having to use insults to any other poster.

However if you disagree with my views you should know how to post them without having to used "remarks" on others.

As for the IQ, I know mine, and the ones of each of my children.

That is why I posted to begin with in this thread and taking in consideration that I find the president a nitwit I decide to said so.

That is my constitutional right and I am not going to give it up as you can see for anybody including you.

Ah, but if he is not here to defend himself, does that not make him defenseless?

Bold statement. I'd like to hear why the war was unjustified since I'm an 'un' myself as in - undecided.

Hey good point. Seemed like an assumption to me too.

Funny, constitutional, but fair? I've never met the guy myself, but I did vote for him. Easy marg! Please put the gun down

If I see someone's mind being changed here at ATS, I would be flabbergasted. Hey! I used flabbergasted in a sentence! Anyone know the phone number for my 5th grade English teacher? *checks the Scrabble board* Triple word score, alright!

I think people would rather argue than debate the topics in these forums.

A smart man will surrround himself with smarter people just as George Bush did to get elected and re-elected.

So far so good, I may say, but like I said nobody should changes their views of the administration just because it disagree or disagree with it, or any views for that matter.

And finding your IQ, I had my son tested by a psychologist, due to some school problems, what many though it was just laziness or just perhaps learning disabilities it was after having is IQ done nothing more that boredom due to an active mind that the school system could no keep satisfy.

Then I had my daughter's due to the results of my son, and she was something else, but in her case she did not used boredom she has a natural desire to learn more all the time.

And after seen the results of my children I wanted to know mine and see if it came from me or my husband.

Sometimes is nice to know, why one child does better than the other one and if is because something is wrong or just something else.

In my case none of my children had anything wrong.

Is a lot of people that are very good at certain thinks than others and it would be unjust to put tabs on people and tell them that they can not vote because of their IQ.

but why is was the war unjust, Bush a nitwit, etc.?

My decision last election was: Bush or No Vote. It was actually someone on here that gave a really convincing argument that was themed - If you do not give your voice when the government asks for it, the government will eventually stop asking for it. That's a scary thought and can see the negative ramifications if it would come to pass.

That's a rather simple answer.

Bush based the justification of invading Iraq on the "fact" that Saddam Hussein was hoarding weapons of mass destruction in violation of years of UN sanctions. Despite there being other valid reasons, THIS is the reason he gave to the international community for the action.

Upon discovering NO weapons of mass destruction, it then made the claims of justification completely false, thus making it an "unjustified" war.

*****************************************

Look, I was all for going into Iraq, even knowing full well what the ulterior motives were. I wasn't happy with the WAY he went about it or the rush that he seemed to be in, but I was confident that at least if they didn't find any WMDs, that they'd at least have the common sense to "manufacture" some finds...or at least try harder to get our allies more on board before rushing into it.
