Ok.... last week i got a big scare in my life. So😊!

I have an office. 5 guitars and 1 base guitar. 2 Spider amps and 3 peavey amps. 4 effects pedels and a multi digital recorder. And as some know i LOVE MEGADETH... but i was Van Halen first.

My recent scare was so bad... i was hospitalised. It took respiratory therapy 4 hours to get my lungs back to working condition. Me being a former paramedic makes for the worst patient. Folks dont think right with 89% oxygen. Semprefortis thanks for deleting my thread😊. You did me a favor since I didnt know i did it.

So! "The Rover" by Led Zeppelin covered by Van Halen. I want to complete a task. I want to learn this, i dont undertand music notes. I play by ear.... oh! And i'm very deaf.

Side note!
Sublimecraft!!!! You beautiful Bastard! Keep your new avatar. That beard... those eyes! I wasnt on board at first... but then i realised it was really you.
Bromance !

Ok my goal since im still very sick.
My second bout with a tumor in my lungs.
I will upload this no later than october .. September to my new YouTube Red account.
So if someone here at ATS could tell me how to upload YT videos.... that would be nice.😊

Edit: Quantum12... love ya too

Sorry to hear you're ill
hope ya get better soon man.

To post a YT vid you only need to enter the code after 'watch?v=' in the URL. In this instance it was www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3lidW4mpMc

So to link this video to ATS you'd type (without the spaces in the tags):
[ yvid ]a3lidW4mpMc[ /yvid ]

(or you can click the YouTUBE button and just enter the last code)

I am so sorry to hear you have been sick.

If you want to learn something musically, there are tutorials on youtube, maybe seeing those might help.

Sorry to hear your not good big man, hope your on the mend.

Good to see you picking up an axe and actually getting something down, I have myself finally decided to put together an album of the stuff I have written over the years, it's taking a while to get back up to spec on the guitar and bass and singing ain't easy after smoking and working in dusty enviroments for so long but it feels good to get back into it.

My deadline is about the same as yours so should be interesting.

Stood beneath this burning sun,
I offer prayers for strength,
For another shining one,
Stood beneath this raging storm,
I offer prayers for health,
Mend that which is torn,
Stood upon this frozen ground,
I offer prayers for peace,
A perfect sound,
Stood before you now my friend,
I pray that you never fall,
And always mend,
That all you are,
Never finds an end.

Now...shred like a maniac!

Should you not be building up the muscles in your drinking arm in preperation for the weekend mate?

I was booked to work it but had to cancel again as forgot I had a decorating job on.

You too could benefit from a few hours of shredding and do not give me the old too much to do bs, Music is good for the soul.

That would be awsome! I am sure there is a way of doing it online these days or at least putting some stuff down and then passing it on?

Sounds like a thread might be in order

I would imagine so yes! Maybe a group skype kind of thing? I'm not technically inclined, so there are probably a number of ways.

Oh, I have had my drinking practice, of that you can be assured.

On the subject of getting down and dirty with my bass guitar, I would love to. At the moment however, there is so much relief in the neck of my bass, that playing it is throwing my timing out all over the place. Adjusted rods within, to no avail. The verdict of several semi professionals of long experience that I have consulted upon the matter, is that the guitar will need a new neck.

That will cost me more than the bloody guitar did in the first place

My mate has a little six string that he is going to give me though, so soon. Soooon.

Too bad you live across the pond. My Hubby would have fixed it for you and just charged for parts, no labor.
