Thank you. There is a second link. But it could just be the same in another format? Maybe even Apple compatible. Do you all want this?

Just a warning guys - be careful about what you are downloading.

- just because a URL passes a check on virustotal.com does not mean the file is virus/malware free, especially compressed zip files that contain other files

- if ATS is blocking a URL, there is a reason they don't want it here, so working around by spelling out a link on different lines is against the rules - it bypasses their security

- downloading some things is illegal - if you don't know what you are doing, the government WILL know that you downloaded it (even if you do think you know what you are doing, they very well might know you downloaded it)

- just because others are doing something, does not mean that it is a smart thing to do

eta: and..
- even if a file is not illegal, there are honey pots out there with tempting ways to attract you (if you don't know what a honey pot is, don't download random files either)

it's titled
"Turkey’s Islamic Supremacist Cult
and its Contributions to the
Civilization Jihad"

90 page pdf.

apparently it's a book.

BOOK RELEASE: The Gulen Movement: Turkey’s Islamic Supremacist Cult and its Contributions to the Civilization Jihad

Huma must be "studying" this for accuracy !!

I am wondering if the link issue was related to the redirect. Anyways everyone here knows the risks.

Here is the second Huma File Link. And this one seems to be working.

I think you may be overestimating people.
Not everyone here would understand the risks.

And as always, please do not link directly to illegally obtain material here on ATS... post links to news organizations that run articles with the material/links.

You can see it set a cookie before the redirect so it might be a good idea to delete it if someone used there normal web device to access that site for that file.

Didn't illegally obtain these links. There were on the internet.

We have no idea what any of those are until we peek. Someone here said they are nothing new. Shills would be interested in what we post though. Can you help us watch for shills that would play room monitor here? I would appretiate the help.

I think SO was referring to the possibility that the data was procured illegally, not about the link necessarily.

Sorry, but just because something is on the Internet does not make it legal to download them.

If the files were obtained illegally, and then someone posted them someplace, then they would be on the Internet, but that does not make them legal to download.

Deleting a cookie is not going to help.
Everything you do on the Internet is recorded by your ISP, and by the hosts of the sites that you access.
As soon as you access any site, they have your IP.
All law enforcement needs to do is request your identity from your ISP, based on your IP, and you would get a knock on your door - if you accessed something that was illegal to access, or if you did something illegal on-line.

Believe me. I have seen it done. It is extremely easy for them. They don't even always need a search warrant to ask your ISP - most will respond to any request. (Note - I was not on the receiving end, but I have seen it done, and police have personally told me how easily they obtained the information, and I have seen people arrested as a result.)

This is not something to take lightly.

Seriously? THIS is the Internet. Nothing you post on these forums is private. Everything you are posting can be seen by ANYONE. So, seriously? "watch for shills"? How is that going to help you?

I know that. I was just saying at least another return trip won't be tied to that file by cookie.

AT most sites, every document access has the logged IP which means the computer can be traced. Really easy if a person used their typical web device.

That header didn't come from my PC accessing it...

If someone wanted to get people into trouble, they are not going to openly post warnings to others in an effort to protect them from doing something unintentional that might get them into trouble.

Someone who wanted to get people into trouble would watch quietly and collect information. They are not going to make themselves known to you.

I think that what people need to watch out for is people who are recklessly luring them to download things that might get them into trouble.

4chan and IRC are notorious for that trick.
