Can't go shattering the illusion.

Hillary Clinton has one weakness and EVERYONE knows it.... she has a very difficult time in telling the truth.

That is it in a nutshell and the single reason why her campaign will avoid an open press conference. She may never have a public press conference prior to the election.

That is the only way for her to solve her trustworthiness and honesty issues... by finally answering the questions of a room full of reporter without restricted access.

Suppose she is elected... what the hell is she going to do? Never have a press conference? How is it going to look to people to see a president continuing to turn their back and walk away as reporters shout questions about her choice of an email server as they leave every presidential briefing...

or will it be status quo...

each reporter to future oval office press briefings will only be allowed to ask pre-approved questions or discuss pre-approved topics?

You can't run from the press forever.

INDEED.

She cannot tolerate "the little people" looking her in the eye or speaking to her on their own initiative. The flies into a rage in response to such minor things.

She certainly flies into a rage at folks DARING to question her about much of anything--particularly to pointedly question her about her lying, corruption, murders, treason etc.

This miserable excuse for a "person" only deserves a very padded prison cell. NOT the plush White House.

She's had town halls . Where she answers people not just the press.
Stop already. You guys know Trumps is destroying himself. His fuse is getting very short now.
Try to make it like she can't answer questions when she's head and shoulders above trump on any issue you can present.

There's others.
Plus interviews. Ones where she doesn't say everybody should have nukes and women should be punished for having abortions. Ones where she doesn't claim she has personal relationships with our enemies which then turn out to be big fat lies.
There's no comparison.
Woo woo and now her numbers amongst white men are going up too. Newest polls you guys won't believe.

After a certain point all petty tyrants shrink from the public scrutiny.

They have to, their record prohibits even the tinniest review.

Maybe, if we shout loud enough (the mouse that roared), she'll have one with teleprompters.

The absence of an official press conference should cause the media to clamour madly for one, but all they do is roll over and let their tongues pant for their Empress.

Her individual interviews with members of the press are fraught with incredible inconsistencies. Some could tease out parts of those interviews as absolute untruths.... we dare not say 'lies'.
