Possibly one of those lighted toys you see in the commercials. And sold at Wal-Mart in the as seen on tv aisle. They are shot up into the air by slingshots , lighted and change colors.
Just sayin.

No structure, it's just an out of focus point of living light, as per Phages post above.

This is a closer look at the 5th picture down in the op. Nice catch whatever it is.

eta: I forgot to ask when you mentioned it kept morphing, did you mean color wise or shape? If either of those, what color or shapes?

Ooh! That looks like the star known as "Sirius".

Ooh! That looks like a reply from someone that didn't read the OP's statements very clearly.

A little background from me. So on March 11, 2015, I was sitting on my porch in Minneapolis, smoking a cigarette, around midnight, when I saw a very different light in the sky. I love watching the sky at night, identifying planets and constellations, even the occasional meteor shower and satellite.

Call me crazy, but that sounds like someone aware of what some main stars in the sky may be. Kind of like knowing the big dipper when you see it....

Sirius also doesn't move around change colors and then dip below the tree line..

and that other poster who took the time to post to ask if in the OP the poster explained whether the object moved or not , because they couldn't find anywhere this was mentioned..

Strange...

LOL

Perhaps, or perhaps he decided to take pictures of Sirius to generate some responses in this forum and gain some "likes". We have nothing for proof except still images which look like Sirius in the night sky. Unless he provides video evidence of this object moving then I am sticking with my explanation that it is, more than likely, Sirius.

Of course, but we have no proof of that--all we have are still images which look strikingly similar to how pictures of Sirius would look in the night sky.

At what time did you spot this object? In what direction was it? How high above the horizon was it when you first saw it?

You think you are going to get proof?

I've noticed this so often with people who havn't been into the weird stuff for decades, they still feel like they are owed something. If you aren't going to take them at their word the object was moving then whats the point of even being in the thread when pictures can be faked anyway?

I would urge people to have more of a gray approach to this particular subject. I can't think of anything more hoaxed in human life than sick days or something..

if I were you, I would just go take a few pictures of Sirius to satisfy my own curiosity.

to me it's just a story. I am not looking to take it or leave it, just keep it back there somewhere in the shed in case I need it later.

I'm also not sure why anyone cares about someone else getting likes?

Don't take it the wrong way. My intuition leads me to belive hes telling the truth to his memory
Of course I did wonder if he was looking through the camera the whole time or with naked eye as well..

But this is why I stopped looking at ufo pics.. You know going in it's not going to change anything.
Besides I've seen some crazy stuff. Mine looked US made though.. Of course it was silent and very scary indeed.

anyway have a good day,
and the rest as well,
I should get some sleep

"Flying wing" military aircraft with an energy field around it? Just a guess, i feel like I can make out the dark "two rulers joined together at an angle" shape within the blue "energy field."

Not like that answers anything really, but it's the best I can come up with.

Cool pics. If you see it again shine a light at it and give three flashes one second apart.................. One, two, three. See if it dims its light output after this in a same three sequence, bright not bright, bright not bright, bright not bright, then you repeat the sequence again. You may coax it over

As some others have mentioned, the shape looks as if it is an artifact of the camera aperture, which can become evident when viewing a light source out of focus.

In a thread a few years ago about how Venus could look diamond-shaped, an ATS member posted images of what his camera aperture plate looks like. As seen in that image below, an out-of-focus "blob" that might be a star or planet could look 4-sided diamond shaped, or could even look like a baseball infield (angular at the bottom, rounded at the top) depending on the aperture opening size, and at what point through the aperture is the unfocused blob of light shining.

That's the pip-boy map symbol for Diamond City in Fallout 4.

Naah, just kidding. That's either a star or a planet. Keep looking, though, because one day someone may see a genuine E.T. piloted stellar craft!

Here is a video of the star "Sirius". There are parts of this video (at the very beginning) where you can see it having the same shape as the OP's image (in this video, it's caused by the shape of the camera aperture plate, as I mentioned in a post above). You can also see Sirius change color as it scintillates (twinkles) and seemingly "morph" its shape:

A cropped and enlarged frame from the above video of the star Sirius:

EDIT TO ADD:
here's another video showing how an out-of-focus star could look diamond-shaped (again, due to the aperture) and can appear to morph and change color:

I'm not downplaying any of your claim at all, but the last picture looks like some type of lit up drone. Possibly angled left, moving. There possibly wouldn't be any sound of it at the distance it was. I had one recently fly over my head and didn't even hear it, only saw the lights. The other pictures could have been some sort of spotlight type light in your general direction. This is just my speculation though.

I'd like to think of it as some sort of UFO though lol. Interesting enough!
