CNN is only doing this to help dilute Trumps votes. CNN works for Clinton, after all.

Let's be completely honest and admit that CNN is only giving this guy the time of day for 1 reason. Trump.

False.But it is OK that they think that.

Jill Stein takes votes from Hillary and Sanders supporters. Gary Johnson takes votes from both Hillary,Sanders supporters and Trump but mostly Hillary. He's neither too far left or too far right.

The media wants to push him as a moderate neocon to draw away from Trump and highlight Hillary. Even though most of his social policies are extremely liberal. He's the only candidate that is talking about the NAP, allowing people to make choices(without government micromanaging them) and non-interventionism(Stein does this too).

We have to get the message out.

Thank you for posting the video. I found this fascinating as I have only heard them referred to as fringe politicians, but there was nothing fringe about them. The position on decriminalisation of cannabis is a position many people hold regardless of political affiliation.

I realise that in part CNN is highlighting them because the negatives on Trump and Clinton are so high. No doubt Jeff Zucker and others want to brand the Libertarians as the legitimate alternative for Republicans who will not vote for Trump. But I suspect that their demeanour and positions will be very attractive to many Democrats who do not find the Green Party quite their cup of tea and who refuse to vote for Madam Clinton.
