As we are little off the main topic and discussing the gold processing, here is a nice video from the Varna Necropolis and the artifacts they found.

Like your good self, I do look forward to seeing what is under that permafrost as I think we will be given another view into our ancient past.

What has absolutely fascinated me are the fair-haired Europeans found in China, where no one would have thought thee people would have travelled.

I don't give much credit to the bible but it interestingly says that at one early time, "The world was fully populated" and that for me is something I would love to have some enlightenment on.

While europe is slow in having it's history publicized, it IS happening. It's true much of the Egyptian history has been dominant, along with the "fertile crescent" the facts will be the facts.
In reality the Egypt-Firsters are aging out and dying off. This opens up a whole new dynamic as younger folks with no ax to grind are coming up in the ranks.

Frankly it's been the same with the Clovis-Firster's despite evidence coming to light that contradicts.
I'm confident as the permafrost melts we are going to find all kinds of exciting sites that will change our views and fire up our imaginations!

You may or may not have a valid point concerning what you call "Egypt firsters" here. However, there is nothing in this find that predates the Egyptian culture, so the point is moot.

Let me put your mind at rest
The bible doesn't have that quote anywhere in it,
phew eh

This is about the closest

Genesis 9:1
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

This is the great part of the Bible where you get all the races of man on every continent from a Jewish sailor in less than 4500 years, when their archaeological remains go back 200,000 years

Great find and makes perfect sense - if they found anything like this in Europe it was always going to be Bulgaria - home to Dacia / Thracia. Dacia was renowned for its ancient gold working.

Plus it also fits my own theory on the Black Sea Region being far more important to civilisation than currently recognised.

I may say more later but would like to add that there are said to be hundreds if not thousands on interments in the area of old Thrace that have not been dug up to this day. Just to many of them. Some that have produce a good deal of gold.

Anyway I think the key was grain. Top grade barley and wheat sold around the world. Corner on the market, high quality allowed them to flourish relatively undisturbed for may centuries. Wealthy farmers and downright nasty warriors.
