I'll just put this here.
Pseudo-skeptical BS. God it's annoying listening to people needing to debunk everything. Saying that as a recovering pseudo-skeptic. I'm not denying
there is not a known, observable psychological effect we have which makes us misremember things incorrectly, indeed, there is.
The guy loses it when he says "Who would remember a song (Mr Rogers) from when they were 5? People are too young to remember..." -This is just wrong.
It's reaching to prove something wrong because he's already reached a preconceived conclusion. As soon as you start letting bias dictate your
interpretations, you engage in pseudoscience.
If quantum mechanics and physics in general, allows for some kind of 'reset' or 'glitch in the matrix' producing the Mandella effect, it means it
could exist even though people still misremember things. It would then be a matter of determining which instances were simply a psychological
effect, or the Mandella Effect.
Im not saying I do believe in the Mandella Effect, but I also refuse to mock people or make fun of them because they do. There are people who believe
sky fairies levitated people out into the heavens. There are people who think ghosts are in their closet. People who can see 'auras'. People talking
to god. A lot of this stuff can't be proven or disproven.
And that's fine, it doesn't
need to be. That's the real issue. People need to wake up and realize our materialist world is actually causing a
huge over confidence and unhealthy arrogance in people. Feeling the need to attack others to feel superior or display what they feel is intellectual
superiority actually makes them quite dumb.
