Why?.A trump presidency destroys NATO. Opens the door for Russia to annex the remainder of the Ukraine. Then what? Romania? Czechoslovakia? Turkey? WW3.
Trump thinks he's playing game of thrones. He doesn't even realize how grave it is to invite Russia to hack us.

Vlad? We're all cozy with him huh?
He is scared to death of Hillary. That is why he would do this to her. There's no question as to why he would want Donald elected. The weaker person would be easy to manipulate. Just compliment him. He's your best friend. Stroke his ego manipulate the United States of America.

Partisan talking point lies.

Trump will scare the bejesus out of NATO so they pay their lawful 2% GDP.
Then they will be stronger than ever.

It's called leadership.

Not at all. He's powerless. Who is he that he could control Russian agents? Nobody that's who.
No I think Russia did it on their own to get the weaker candidate elected.
That makes sense.
Please trumps head is big enough. Sure let him think we think he controls Putin. As if....

This is actually quite incorrect. The documentation from Cloudstrike clearly states the following:

Cozy Bear is "low level confidence" for working for FSB.
Fancy Bear is "Medium level confidence" for working for GRU.

The attribution to Russia comes because of an IP address attached to a PUBLIC russian VPN.

The claim that "Russia hacked the DNC" comes from Hillary Clinton campaign member Robby Mook.

Just a side note, many of the technical indicators pointing to Russia are traits that have been publicly outed as Russian previously, so it doesn’t make sense that Russian intelligence agencies would use them again for covert activity. It would make a lot more sense for this to be even a russian speaking hacker, verses the russian government.

No it wasn't. It was Russia trying to influence a U.S. election.

Good. NATO no longer has a legitimate reason to exist and hasn't since 1991.

And last I checked the Illegal Ukrainian Fascist Junta didn't have NATO membership.

More than Larry the cable guy from the NSA .

PS

It was certainly possible when you were saying that Hillary's server was hacked. Even though it was shown that it was unlikely she was hacked. And some said there was no indication all that she was.You took the slightest possibility that Comey waved in front of you to the depths of her endangering U.S. security and made it a certainty. Now highly confident from the FBI leaves room for doubt. Would you accept that bent logic in any other circumstances?

I'm truly glad you can read Vlad's mind and tell the world what he is thinking. It's a useful tool to have---the ability to read others' minds.

It was the pissed off intelligence community. She got the wrong people killed with her power hungry greed this time and it is way above her pay grade to do anything about.

Bingo! Give that poster a cigar!
That is exactly what the warmongering Democrats and Republicans fear. They want a return to the Cold War with its immense profits for the the military-industrial-petrochemcial fascists. It's also why the neoCon Republicans are squirming. If those profits dry up the campaign coffers of the war hawks are empty. They contribute to both major parties---one more reason we need to bust up the major party cartels.

TWO possible reasons why the NSA would leak the stuff:
1.) The NSA KNOWS she's a threat to national security and they want her to lose.

2.) The NSA KNOWS the Russians, Chinese, NK's, Israelis, ISIS, Girl Scouts...et al...have hacked her six ways to Sunday and they want to slowly mitigate the potential damage of her being blackmailed and manipulated as POTUS...by releasing the material incrementally, before foreign powers can use it as leverage.

They might also know she is compromised, and a blackmail liability.
Could be happening as we speak.

Please. It was Russia. Nonpartisan computer experts are highly confident it was Russia. This is just another deflection.

They are..?

The word on the street .. or, well, the information superhighway .. is that they have no clue, who it is. Sure, Russian tools and relays might have been used, but that is to be expected. If it is not Russia.

Russia supposedly employs some pretty decent fellas with some pretty decent skills (you know, them leet haxor skills), and had it been Russia the would not have written 'Russia' all over the crack. They are too good to be that clumsy.

Supposedly.

And any decent 'computer expert' would know that.

Or so I have heard.
Supposedly.

Unless you have a link to show him saying that he is "scared to death" of Hill, you have to be reading his mind. You also claimed in an earlier post to be able to read the Donald's mind as well. I think that's a pretty neat trick. You should start your own tv show---there's money to be made in reading minds.
I think Hill's just mad that her crooked ways are being exposed and she has no control. For a control freak, that's a major problem and someone must pay for her loss of control due to her ignorance of the ways of technology. It is very possible that these "leaks" are coming from within, from people she screwed over in the past. They've been sitting in the weeds, watching for their opportunity for revenge.

You want it to be Russia because Hillary said it was Russia. The "computer experts" were not "non-partisan." They work for the DNC--just like you.

You mean "experts" all hired by the DNC.

Not too biased are they when they get paid to make "reports".

Do you honestly believe that any professional hackers, especially from a foreign nation, aren't smart enough to cover their own tracks? You do realize that it's not very hard at all to spoof where you're hacking from and leave traces for the blame to fall on someone else? Just because the hack might have originated in Russia -- does NOT mean that it was a Russian hacker. It doesn't even mean that the hacker was IN Russia.
