I remember these stories appearing around the 80's if I'm correct, following every news clip relating to this phenomenon. While following these stories another one surfaced, and it was of interest not only because of it's content, but because it was in close proximity of where I lived at the time.

Granted it was not spontaneous combustion, it was of a similar Bizarre nature..... One wonders if the cause of combustion was chemical, or just a planetary anomaly of unknown characteristics. As was stated the temperatures necessary for that type of burn would fall into difficult to reach BTU's........ and likely burn much of the surrounding area no doubt just by convection combustion.

Sure.

(particularly Helen Conway who was seen alive minutes before she was found reduced to ashes)
What all four of these cases had in common? These people were reduced to ash in just minutes. No cigarette, ''wick effect'' (which takes over 7 hours to burn a body by the way) or even thermite could cause the energies and temperatures required to do that.

Anomoly for Helen Conway.
best to not fill in questionmarks with religion though. could have been a weapon being tested. hard to determine cause when you only have the words of some people many decades ago. 100% speculation.
souls burning up...that isn't a reasonable assumption until you can quantify a soul.
Now, my brother is currently working on a house where a elderly woman smoker blew up..she was doing oxygen treatments while smoking and caught on fire, she ignited and eventually the oxygen tank itself caught on fire and blew up..blowing a hole into the side of the house.
But initially she herself caught on fire due to a oxygen rich body, lungs filled with fire and she combusted. dont know if any of these people listed were doing oxygen treatment, just saying perhaps there is just a overlooked bit of science going on here.

Your fixation on this issue and the many threads you have created for it are approaching an all-time ATS record. Haven't you had one or more threads removed for this constant repetition?
There is no such thing as souls causing bodies to burn. Please seek professional help. You're not going to get any different answers this time that you have not gotten in all your previous threads on this subject.
Are stories of people's souls burning their bodies from the inside out true or just hoaxes?

There's been records of cases many centuries ago. also it'd draw much less suspicion if you tested it on animals.

What stories ? , even if there are stories yes they are a hoax , Spontaneous Human Combustion is a thing of fiction not fact.
While there are pictures of burned bodies there is no evidence that anyone has ever spontaneously combusted.

The evidence is right at your fingertips. There's also people who have survived this and live in fear every single day.
If SHC is a real phenomenon, why doesn't it happen more often? There are 7 billion people in the world, and yet we don't see reports of people bursting into flame while walking down the street. No one has ever been seen, filmed or videotaped (for example, on a surveillance camera) suddenly bursting into flames. It always happens to a single person left alone near a source of ignition.

Excuse me, but you ASKED the question in your title: Truth or hoax? People are telling you: Hoax, and you're arguing with them. If you are already certain of your answer, why are you asking it yet again? And what do you hope to gain by asking the same thing in thread after thread after thread? Do you really think you're going to get different answers THIS time? You're becoming a pest.

Yes and no. Spontaneous combustion is a real occurance and has been documented over 100 years with research and photographs.
But it hasnt been determined HOW it happens leaving surrounding items untouched by the astronomically high temperature needed to consume a human being.
Forget the soul angle. Thats a whole other thing. Personally, I dont think that has anything to do with S.C.
