I know you are probably tired of me saying this, but this is why we need to be involved. Even the Scotus is affected by public opinion/outcry if it's loud enough.

A person that did not STEAL their nomination, or rigged their elections is EXACTLY what this country needs.

Trump didn't have to steal it because let's face it he had no real competition. If he did have any competition then he would have done just like he had done everytime he ran for office before and that is turn tail and run.

What we don't need Putins, Assads, and Saddams. CLintons.

No you just want someone who either praises them or gives them money like has done with the Clinton's.

Dump the kleptocrats.

As much as Trump has stolen through defaulted loans, bankruptcies and con games like Trump university the Dems aren't the only klepto's in the room.

A man who rates lower than Putin in global opinion, who does not understand how the government or the Constitution work

Go tell Clinton to read the second,4th,5th, and 14th amendments that deal with gun rights, property RIGHTS, and DUE prcoess where CRIMES have to be proven in courts of LAW.

Then go on to tell her CONGRESS writes legislation that gets sent to her desk to be signed in to LAW.

And lastly SHE is not the 'decider' of chief telling WHICH people have WHAT RIGHT they should have.

If you call 16 people 'no' competition compared to 1 challenger from the other side.

That could be summed up as controlled opposition from the beginning.

They're going to do what they are going to do.

Regardless of our input, imho.

"Getting involved" for me will probably extend to getting arrested by the state for not obeying some idiotic dictate or decree.

We have voted our freedoms away for decades. This just more nails in an already closed coffin.

Seeing you've been pushing Hillary for months via your mantra on 'disapproval polls', your Democrat post/advertisement doesn't really come as any surprise.

Simply put, your choosing to cite 'economists' is typical. Those are the last people I'd go to for advice on repairing our economy as our economy is a 'political' problem. I'd prefer a successful businessman any day.

What's the old 'saw'? "If you can't 'do' it, teach it. If you can't teach it, teach the teachers"....

The SCOTUS situation does throw a big turd into this election. I am really amazed that our founding fathers did not foresee such a wrench! Our Judicial system needs balance. Balance the justices between Dems/Repubs/independents/ and hopefully soon Liberterian/ Green / Constitutional party biases! We all know they are biased...the outliers will see that our judicial system is not locked in bias partisanship!

I cannot believe how doggedly rabid the vast majority of the THIS or THAT supporters here are.

You cannot even get your head out of your collective rear-ends to realize what in the world this thread is about.

Mods, Seagull, please delete this thread. I am the person who posted it, and it bares no resemblance at all to what my original post was.

Or, rename it "Ignorant and Stupid".

Trump.

The corrupt system needs to be dealt with. Is Trump the man? He is the only candidate that has a chance to win, and the only one that COULD change things.

If Hillary, the one who cheated to get the nomination, and is a career criminal and liar, gets in it will be one step closer to her Saul Alinsky dreams.

If Trump gets in and does not do what he says then I fear for the future of America.

Only one person was a threat and that was Rand Paul but he cut his own throat when he was overheard saying that aid to Israel should be cut. Not to mention Trump received constant free press whereas his opponents got only a fraction of the media that he got.

Did the Clinton foundation steal millions from a bank by claiming he didn't have to repay a loan by crying the Wall Street crash was an act of God like Trump did?

The op was about a false choice fallacy solidified in the thread title.

Everyone has a take on it.

That is what critical thinking looks like.

So I guess you think that a President or CEO has to be all knowledgeable? You figure that Amazon's Bezos knows everything about overseas business, or space travel? Of course not.

A good CEO/President surrounds themselves with the best people in the know and his/her job is to set the course for the company to be profitable and insure that it stays on that course. If their management team screws up, they're replaced.

WE THE PEOPLE (the shareholders) have an obligation every 4 years to determine if our current CEO is doing their job and replace them if necessary. We also have the ability to replace the Board members (House/Senate). If we never replace them, or keep putting clones of them in office, nothing will ever change.

Looking at it as an employer, Hillary would have a questionable background check and her previous job performance has been less than stellar. Why would you hire her for $400,000.00 per year? This country IS a business, and it's been running in the red for many years now.

Trump has shown he's been in business for many years successfully. He has a track record of business success. Yes some of his companies have been through bankruptcy, but that is a business tactic to salvage your business. It shows that he's a resilient smart businessman. He's shown how easily these hack job politicians can be teased into saying and doing things they shouldn't. It really cracks me up how stupid these politicians really are.

His popularity around the world is bad? Who cares? Would you prefer he go to all of them and apologize, courtsey, bow etc? Oh wait that's already been done! Economists say he would be a disaster? Are you kidding, look around. These same economists are the ones saying everything is wonderful, housing is up, jobs are up blah blah blah. Yeah, job outlook is so good that the over 40 crowd working at McD wants $15 an hour because it's the only job they can get. But don't you worry, when you go to bed in your cardboard box or in your parents house, you can feel warm and fuzzy about how your tax money is paying to house, feed and get jobs for Illegal Aliens or refugees who like to protest, demanding rights waving other country's flags! We've gone from being admired and respected worldwide to being the laughing stock of the world.

I guarantee the countries around the world that are pissed at us are the ones who have been screwing us over for years.

I would prefer to have our country back to where it was when people RESPECTED us for our individuality, pride of country and work ethic.

This country has been a 2 party system for many years because WE have allowed it to. Even so, a vote for someone outside of those parties, knowing there's no chance in hell of that person being elected is a waste and makes you a part of the problem. Kind of like dreaming about rainbows and unicorns. It also gives you an out when someone lousy is elected because you can always say "It's not MY fault".

Giant Asteroid is gaining in the polls though... So you never know.
I'm voting for Giant Asteroid myself, even it that equals a vote for Trump or Hillary, oh well.

Giant Asteroid vows to wipe out the IRS, our national debt, our nation, all on day one!

Giant Asteroid 2016
Just Make It Quick!

What are the polls for Giant Asteroid? If I remember correctly, if its approval rating goes up by a few more points it will have to invited to those debates for presidential canidates, right?

It might even have a similar effect like Clinton or Trump would have, just much faster.
