Hello, Long time lurker here........

I've been a long time lurker, real long, maybe 8-10 years. I don't like to "join" a lot of sites due to privacy concerns,
but the day had come where I had to take the plunge as some topics have come up that I really wanted to respond
in. I finally realized that it was crazy not to participate if I had meaningful input to add to the discussion.

So here I am. I'm most interested in Ancient/Hidden History, Science, Space, Paranormal, UFOs and well I guess
anything that looks interesting. I'm more of a generalist rather than an expert in any specific area.

I look forward to the chance to contribute and learn new things as I have for years. I will admit that I did
contribute a donation to ATS a few months ago, even though I was not a member!

Oh and I only use recycled electrons..........

A Fripp, is actually a reference to Robert Fripp of King Crimson fame. I saw this on a t-shirt once
and I was having a hard time finding an unused user name and as I happened to be listening to
some Crimson while creating my account, pure coincidence, I tried it and it worked!

Didn't you know that lurking is bad for your back?!

It is a lot more fun on the posting side! The site is a bit different when logged in. One of the cool things is that if your in a thread and see "reply to" you can click on the link and the post the person is replying to pops up in a little window! Membership has its rewards! Beware, the bbcodes! Some you can nest and others you cannot ("quote" is one that catches everybody off guard--those you cannot nest).

Thanks, was hooked way back in 1969 and since I'm in a bit of a cultural wasteland
