France to sent aircraft carrier, Rafales to Middle East to fight ISIS

France have just announced they intend to send the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to the Middle East in September, as well as a number of Rafale fighter/ attack aircraft to fight ISIS. The Rafales will likely operate from the Emirates and they also expect to send an artillery battery among other assets to support the Iraqi army and step up its operations against daesh in light if recent events.

After all they have been through I cant blame them.

But why waiting that long with fighting the "IS" the right way?
Why waiting till several terror attacks happened?
Or did it need that much attacks so that the french people are ok with it?

Its probably that it takes a while to sort it out for actual operations with all the supply lines

President Francois Hollande has announced the deployment of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to the Middle East to join in attacks against ISIS forces in Iraq.

The nuclear-powered vessel will travel to the Gulf with its battle group where it will be in position to attack ISIS targets in Iraq with its complement of 20 combat aircraft.

Speaking today on the vessel, which is the flagship of the French navy, President Hollande said the current situation 'justifies the presence of our aircraft carrier'.

Yeah France is now going to step things up.

Hopefully get the innocent people and their sex slave captives out and send them to their fiery snack bar, enough already.

they will keep attacking us until we retaliate..

and when we attack them, they'll have their justification to attack us..

and so it begins!

I can't believe ISIS havn't been wiped from the map yet. How long have we been fighting them now? They can't have that much firepower to fend off our Aircrafts, bombs, firepower and Personnel on the ground.

That is exactly it!
But if the allies try to "wipe the IS" out like they did so far, without really fighting or attacking them, the number of terror attacks will just rise.

Thats because someone needs the "IS" situation for other goals!

There is so much to fight when it comes to "IS"

Simply sending troops to fight them in Syria isn't enough, we need our governments to stand up to Saudi and other nations which are funding and supporting this war.

We need a movement in Europe to combat against 2nd wave extremists.

Its hard to fight a war when you dont know who the enemy is..

Well good for them..
But they need to deal with the Islamic infestation that is already in France and send all Muslim migrants home asap..
They act like sweet little babies in front of you... but rape your daughter behind your back, torture animals and kill everyone that do not follow their imaginary god.

Time to take of the gloves and do something about the problem and protect our families

This action will only result in more needless deaths both in the middle East and France...Pointless. I'm Sure the people of France will sleep better tonight knowing that Hollande has chosen to keep doing what he's been doing.

Sheer populism. The threat is INSIDE the country. And I mean not only those Euro-bureaucratic sell-outs.
