Should a speedo be outlawed...

Do you wear a speedo? Do women like men in a speedo? Should a speedo be outlawed?

I was just out on the beach taking in the sun when all of a sudden I saw a sight that made me want to stick my head in the sand. This is not the first time but today it got me. I don't want to see another mans hanger and potatoes wrapped in a tight speedo let alone this.



I prefer my suit over the above.

Honestly ... Speedos are disgusting.

There, I said it. Somebody needed to.

Well, to be completely fair here, you're comparing two old fat guys with monster guts to a young guy with a modest six-pack. To me, it's the fat guts that are more of a turn-off than the briefs themselves (though, frankly, I don't like those either.) So you really ought to compare apples and apples. I'd probably still go for the young guy's attire here.

I think i;ve seen that first pic before, lol. Speedos are fine, peiple whould be comfortable with their own bodies and not pay so much attention to how others look in bathing wear. I do like the style you prefer, though.

I agree with you that Speedo suits on the beach can be pretty disgusting, particularly on the guys you show at the top.

However, as someone who was a competitive swimmer from the age of 5 until 20, I wore it as a competitive suit at every meet for over 15 years. At the same time, my beach attire is what you picture for your preference to wear. Not only is it appropriate and less offensive, but it's also far more comfortable. Speedo suits are quite binding and, really, purely made for the sport. Thus the brand name!

Poor taste isn't against the laws. I mean as long as their boy parts aren't hanging out I don't see what anyone can do.

Thank you I agree too. As a swimmer it cuts down the drag, along with shaving your hair.

Aren't Speedos more of a European thing? I haven't seen many in the U.S.

That being said, no, we can't just ban things we don't like.

I do see your point that you can outlaw a speedo. I just don't want to see another mans corn on the cob wrapped up. Or how about the guy who lives next to you mowing the lawn in a speedo? Lol

Why anyone wants to wear anything while swimming is something I do not understand.

I know most of you would gag at the mere thought but nude beaches are nice beaches.

So, neither for me. When those long ones get wet .... yuck.

Ok You win! Hands down the young guy in the first pic. Much nicer attire. Though that guy isn't that hairy--not that we want to go there again!
