Yep. All this is a HUGE cluster f. We all look like monkeys molesting a fotball on the global scale right now.

IMO, we all just need to shut up and every nation with an interest needs to donate 100 mil, 10,000 troops with gear, a council of generals to run it and just stomp out all of Daesh.

Make a point to all the radicals really quick.

That's not going to work.

Here's the problem with your suggestion. Lets say this supposed coalition to wipe out these wackos does the job. Ok, IS is gone. The ideology and desire to commit terror attacks in the name of Islam still remains. So yeah, we may get a few quiet years after devastating areas with countless collateral damage and thousands of innocents killed but at least that damn flag is nowhere to be seen.

IS is not sovereign even in the lands that they hold. There are people all over the world who believe in their cause and fomenting a global army is only going to create more of them, more Paris', more Nice's, more Orlando's. Sure, they may not have a singular stronghold anymore, but there will still be plenty of these fools who want to do nothing but kill non-believers. Fear is a catalyst for these nuts espc since so many IS adherents are young and grew up amongst occupying forces or have family that did.

The root of the problem needs to be attacked. You step on a cockroach, there's still others behind the walls. The problem is beyond nuking Mecca (which also won't work) no one has the answers on how to break this ridiculous circle. You cut off one head, there's another shortly thereafter.
