As a kid we use to tell our friends that dad put a chemical dye in the pool you couldn't wash off and that followed you if you peed in the pool. Now the baton is passed to the kids in our family who tell the same lie.

Sadly kids nowadays believe nothing.

Weeeelllllll, I did get caught up in Reagan's No Tolerance policy back in the 80's but I've been to the States since. I guess I've been forgiven but I've got a problem with needing a passport to go where I've been numerous times before. That said NYC is only about a 6 hour drive. As I drive.
