Its the Equal Rights issue that will keep me from voting Republican.

Illegal immigrants do not deserve the same rights as a standard citizen. they have human rights but they should not be given rights afforded to a natural citizen.

What get sme is how come anyone cannot make a distinction and be accurate when he SPECIFIED the ones who were being bad and specified the good ones too.

As to th ewipe out muslim families part of terrorist. notice he said "familes of terrorist" HE cant do that here in the US because we have a right to trial. I wonder how many terrorist would do their acts If their family was at risk. yeha its cruel but so are they.

Well, I didn't mention Trump specifically, although he's said a lot of stuff. But, check out his VP.

Different subject needs its own thread. But, I will not fault people for trying to better their lives. Plenty of legal deadbeats. I lived on the Mexican border. It's scary on the Mexican side. Mexico is run by drug lords. I don't see a whole lot of difference between them and ISIS. Those coming from Mexico are refugees as much as those coming from the ME. IMO.

Not legally they aren't.

You can call them refugees all you want, but at some point, don't you think they have a duty to fix their own country?

As you say, we have plenty of our own deadbeats, so why on earth are we obligated to now take in a bunch of people who realistically will be able to support themselves for a very long time ... if ever? At some point, you have to recognize that we can only support so many and put on the brakes or else we all collapse.

I've been watching the evening news..i know BAD BAD. Not one channel is saying anything about the protests outside the DNC. No coverage of the anit-chats or anything related. Just fluff bits of her speech.

I know the real info. Still so hard to believe sometimes how we don't have press anymore, just media.

We've had far to much division - and I speak for my country where the situation is mirrored.

You only had to look at the DNC convention speakers and content to see how many groups there were -it was perplexing and actually showcased the division in the country. Somehow we've got to a stage where not naming a group is divisive (which to me is some kind of sick inversion), but if you ARE going to show case all the groups in America you sure as hell should cover them all.

So Trump and the republicans gave a message of ALL Americans, the DNC decided to divide the population up and speak for some but not others.
