Internal Emails: DNC Staffers Conspired to Develop Anti-Bernie ‘Narrative’

A new trove of leaked emails seem to show that top officials at the Democratic National Committee openly mocked and criticized Sen. Bernie Sanders during the primary race against Hillary Clinton -- a startling revelation that raises questions about the Democratic Party’s impartiality and an issue that could play out poorly at the party’s convention this week in Philadelphia.

WikiLeaks posted close to 20,000 emails and 8,000 attachments Friday sent or received from top Democratic officials that seem to suggest the committee’s chairwoman, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and other higher ups tried to tip the scales in Clinton’s favor. WikiLeaks dubbed the document dump the “Hillary Leaks series.”

Sanders has repeatedly claimed that he thought the system was “rigged” during the primaries.

In one email, DNC staffers were looking for ways to blunt Sanders’ popularity with Democrats. In a May 5 email, a DNC employee asked a colleague to collect information on his religious beliefs – claiming it might sway voters in West Virginia and Kentucky. In that particular email, Sanders name was not mentioned but he was the only other candidate in the race at that time against Clinton.

DNC chief financial officer Brad Marshall wrote, “This would make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.”

Stephen Hayes, a columnist at the Weekly Standard, told “Special Report” on Fox News that the emails show a clear pattern of Wasserman Schultz and the DNC “thumbing the scales’ in favor of Clinton and scheming for ways to “thwart” Sanders.

It seems the leaks have also shown proof Hillary and the DNC hired Internet Trolls to harass Bernie supporters online.

The DNC RULES COMMITTEE just voted down the 4th. consecutive amendment to end superdelegates. Too bad Bernie supporters were locked out.

The Philly cops were pissed that BLM mothers were going to speak at the convention.

Rumor has it there will be another BIG dump on Thursday...about 5 hrs. before Clinton's acceptance speech.

But here's a synopsis of some of the DNC leak (Part 1) including the Anti-Bernie collusion:

The news about the DNC emails just gets better and better.
A few things we are seeing so far:

1) Ted Cruz asked the DNC for MONEY to help fund his delegate fight in Cleveland.(specifically: Eric Bennett to and from Ken Cuccinelli, R-Virginia working with Ted Cruz and the DNC to undermine the delegate selection before the convention. Working to push through rules changes in the rules committee and working to flip bound delegates against the rules and state law. All co-ordinated with the DNC.)

2) Jake Tapper of CNN colluded with the DNC. They gave him questions to ask his interview guests.

3) Chuck Todd of NBC was also colluding with the DNC and put pressure on others at the network to go easy on Democrats at the DNC’s request.

4) The New York Times co hosted parties with the DNC. This is against the law by the way.

5) Hillary Clinton setup a slush fund through the DNC to launder donor money.

6) The DNC actively colluded with the media to work against Bernie Sanders.

Regarding the DNC leak and Cruz...It looks like the DNC was planning on hitting Ted with the story about his dad and Oswald. Obviously they were actively researching it.
Maybe the DNC leaked it to the National Enquirer.

It also seems they edited a Wikipedia page to plant some information.
I'm not quite clear on what they were doing with this information.

While I will note that Cruz's father was in fact a militant who fought the Batista regime (which Fidel Castro defeated) and it would not be unusual for him to be caught up in the ugly web of Cuban militants with questionable histories (just look at the cabinet in the basement, one of the Watergate burglars was...Cuban) ...with plenty of other examples including a guy who blew up a plane and was basically given safe refuge in Texas ...not to mention those who were involved in the ugly Central American wars in the 80s...I think this is a fun hit. I made edits to dispute each claim.
