thought you might like this, seeing how we went off topic some. but this one is pretty close. it's what folks call southern rock and there's quite a
few bands in that genre from the 70's and 80's
even though i didn't like to much of their music here's another one.
most people think it's about ptsd, but according to the writers it's about thoughts of the solders during the war.

We've had a lot of great songs about total war, as well as some of the more subtle "metaphoric" wars in society (the struggles of the anti-war
movements, class struggle, lgbt struggle, the war against HIV/AIDS, and the "war" between the sexes).
Great though-provoking stuff of what conflict and struggle mean to different people.

yea i'd hate to have to fight against my brothers in a civil war. even though when young we fought like cats and dogs.
my mom use to call us tom, jerry and spike. but couldn't nobody mess with my little brothers but me.
seeing your last post reminded me of a the 45's my parents bought us when i was about 6 or7, we played that thing everyday that summer, and for a few
