Unless I'm mistaken, Hillary never trashed Obama's family. Things are said in politics, but as long as you keeo the family out of it, you dont cross the line. Trump not only crossed it, he turned around and spit on it. I'm floored andvappalled that anyone would think an attack on someone's family is fair game.

When did Donald ever play by the rules. He's an outlaw.

...If anything, he helped Trump last night, by showing his supporters that Trump is the bigger person.

Trump would have looked like the bigger person if he hadn't scrapped his pledge in March. He lost his leg to stand on though.

Cruz, Trump, and the GOP all ended up looking weak and childish, IMO.

I'll have to ask my sister what she thought. She was a Cruz supporter but doesn't like Trump. She hates Hillary more though.

ETA: Didn't you support Cruz at one time, IAMTAT?

I did...early on. I also supported Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina.

Yeah it's been shown to be a Photoshop job so I think that's pretty funny. I think it's hilarious how many people actually thought it was real and that she would walk around like that. That's really funny.

The irony is that the GOP went with a claimed anti establishment type, gave him the nomination, and he turned the convention into a celebration of mediocrity to be mocked. The impression left by this pathetic display is the Cruz fiasco and Scott Baio. The convention had the potential to be Yuuuuggge but they just didn't have the organization of the pros.

Yeah because the naked pictures of her out there for everyone to see doesn't already do that.

Picture the gallery of first lady portraits in the white house. Up there with pretty Dolly Madison and staid Mary Todd Lincoln and a stern looking Mamie Eisenhower . Past Mrs Clinton and both Mrs Bush past Michelle to the centerfold with the staple in her bellybutton. Class.

Bernie will have his chance to give Hillary the cold-shoulder next week.

Trump is a mistake at being the GOP candidate...how?

Trump is a mistake at being POTUS is blatantly ridiculous.

Where exactly has Trump failed the GOP by being the candidate the people have chosen?

I have been wondering if some of the people complimenting Cruz in this thread are/were Bernie supporters.
The 2 situations are similar in some ways, but different in other ways.

Cruz:
Signed a pledge to endorse the GOP candidate.
Showed from his speech last night that he basically supports the issues and platform proposed by Trump.
The only thing he has is a personal dislike for Trump and is sore that he lost what he thought he deserved.
Cruz lost the election, fairly, by the choice of the people, but tried to rig the delegates in his favor, and still lost.
He won't endorse Trump.

Sanders:
Did not sign a pledge.
Based his entire platform on fighting against everything that Hillary Clinton stands for, including the important issues.
There are suspicious causes for Sanders losing in several states, pointing to voter fraud.
Dmes rigged super delegates in Clinton's favor.
He endorsed Clinton.

So, who made an ethical, reasonable decision?

You could be right but if the GOP can't even unite the party at the convention; sort of looks like a "mistake" in strategy and organization. Trumps base is strong but he needed to win over some moderates. This debacle of a convention drove them away!

LOL...Michael Moore just predicted Trump will win.

Do we really win with Hillary or Trump. I don't think so, but that is my own personal opinion. I like to hope for the best. I really don't see that in either candidate.
I see two huge egos going into this election just like the one that is in the oval office. These egos are going to run this country into the dirt even more than the previous one.
Cruz is a booger eating baby in a mans body.

As I can see it, the only ones applauding Cruz are hillary's supporters.

The people at the convention yesterday, showed Cuz what they think about Trump. So, I would say the Republican Party is pretty united, if you exclude a couple of boys whose ego's are hurt because they lost fair and square.

Just compare how did both Ben Carson and ted cruz behaved during the Convention. One with class, because he's a gentleman, and other like a rat.

Ted should not have attended, like the others, if he wasn't going to endorse Trump.

But I tend to be partial to anyone booed at the RNC

The right throws around the term RINO a lot and its funny to me bc I guess anyone who does not have far right religious nuthouse beliefs is a RINO, lol

And Cruz was treated fairly when Trump used a stupid conspiracy theory to say his father was in league with Lee Harvey Oswald? Wow that's fair alright.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Bernie had the balls to make a Cruz-like speech at the DNC convention? Like if he said vote your conscience and not for the Dem dishonest and unethical nominee.
