I am reversing my view of Ted Cruz after his interview this morning.
He made his position TOTALLY clear in this video and he left the door open to Trump.
It is 100% up to Trump now to bring him into the fold and make this right. Trump can turn this into a bases loaded home run by doing two simple things:
1) Make it clear in his speech that he believes wholeheartedly in the what Cruz was saying in his speech last night and thanking Cruz for speaking at the convention
2) Admitting he regretted the Heidi tweet and referencing the story about Cruz's father - and taking it back.
I think he wins the election by doing those two simple things tonight.

LOL!
God kosmic - I'm surprised anyone can even talk about ethics and keep a straight face anymore
This has been one hell of a show though
Me and mine? We have been practicing living under a president Trump
Maybe we need a new and different kind of survivalist forum?
I'm practicing living under Clinton.
Trump had a shot at appealing to moderates but he blew it. Pense, hates gays, non christians, minorities and women just like Trump.
Trump will try like hell tonite to patch up this cluster **** of a convention but the damage is done. If the GOP can't even put together a simple thing like a political convention to unite the party; what kind of leader will that be on the national stage.
Trump just destroyed any relevancy the Republicans might have once had. And they did it all to themselves....delicious irony!!!

Notice the conspicuous absence of Melania. The beautiful Trophy wife became a liability and is now being hidden from view.

She was not scheduled to appear.
You really ought to take a step back and get some perspective. Bias and hatred blinds even the most intelligent of men.

Do a google search. He is universally hated. Almost every article about this subject centers around his personality, not his politics. The comments are usually along the lines of "He is very smart BUT he is arrogant and self centered." I read a really good article about when he was involved in W's campaign for the WH. He injected himself into areas of the campaign that he was not involved in. Everything from campaign strategy to foreign policy. When W won, according to the article, they had a meeting which included W about making sure Cruz was not included in the WH staff. I'll look for the article and post it.
"Ted thought he was an expert on everything," says this campaign veteran, who asked not to be named. "He was a smart and talented guy, but completely taken with himself and his own ideas. He would offer up opinions on everything, even matters outside his portfolio. He was a policy guy, but he would push his ideas on campaign strategy. He would send memos on everything to everyone. He would come to meetings where he wasn't invited—and wasn't wanted." In fact, this Bush alum recalls, "the quickest way for a meeting to end would be for Ted to come in. People would want out of that meeting. People wouldn't go to a meeting if they knew he would be there. It was his inability to be part of the team. That's exactly what he was: a big a**hole."

It didn't get much play, but Eileen Collins, the first woman astronaut to command a space shuttle mission also spoke yesterday about the importance of exploring space..
And the last line of her speech on the teleprompter and transcripts was..
"We need leadership that will challenge every American to ask, “What’s next?” We need leadership that will make America’s space program first again. We need leadership that will make America first again.
That leader is Donald Trump."
BUT she DIDN'T read aloud the "That leader is Donald Trump" bit ...and walked off stage.
Hat tip to Eileen

Here's a link to that story: HuffPo
It says the convention committee prepared her speech. WTH? So none of those words were her own?
Is that typical for convention speeches?
And clearly she never read or approved the speech because she wouldn't have approved a line she was unwilling to say.
I guess I find this story curious.
As BuzzFeed reported, Collins had come under criticism for speaking at a political convention. She told Mashable that her speech was not intended to be political, which it would have been if she had endorsed Trump as the RNC expected.
