A staffer at the Department of Justice is in hot water after sending a tweet about Melania Trump from the agency’s Twitter account.
The agency said it has revoked the staffer’s access to all Justice social media accounts.

UPDATE: 2:00 p.m. ET Politico reported that they received a statement from the Justice Department, saying that a public affairs staffer posted it on their account when they meant to switch to a personal account. The department also said that they would review their social media policy and implement changes necessary to avoid a recurrence.
The Justice Department has revoked a staffer's access to its social media accounts after its Twitter account published a tweet Tuesday morning with a tone uncharacteristic of its usual statements and announcements.
