Right. I firmly believe that what you say about cronyism pretty much applies across party lines. It's one party that we have with some faux social differences to divide people. The pandering's and pork's pretty much the same from both camps.

And building a wall and deporting 11+ million illegal immigrants and getting jobs back isn't exactly going to come with a small price tag or be conducive to small government or no cronyism either is it? So no difference here.

Can you imagine the absolute outrage if a Liberal candidate did the same thing as Melania?

Remember when Joe Biden plagiarized a speech while running for president?

But wait, you don't really believe the first so, you can't buy into the second. At least let''s all be intellectually honest here, don't cherry pick when it's convenient.

Notice how "the wall" hasn't been mentioned in any of the speeches. Curious.....

IF we were being intellectually 'honest' here.

The people that have 'problems' with Melanie were never going to vote for Trump to begin with.

There were LOTS of things said during the RNC convention.

And Melanie's is apparently what Trump critics have probelms with the most.

THAT KJ is cherry picking.

Better than his challenger. That's for damn sure.

At least we live in a country where he has a challenger

Everyone loves a little pomp

And I'm not even trolling :-)

Time to call a spade a spade Neo

If not now - when?

This campaign may be making a habit of plagiarizing?

I thought we weren't paying for the wall?

^^This is partly why I don't take Trump's campaign seriously.

Trump is a genius at generating publicity!

On the scale of things, his wifes speech is inconsequential and unlikey to sway voters either way. Most people are saying they feel sorry for Melania.

But the publicity already generated In the media is PRICELESS.

I think it was done on purpose.

You mean that other person that got caught lying about a server in her basement with classified material on it only to have the LAW virtually rewritten on her behalf.

And by the by is a known PLAGIARIZER.

Hillary Clinton’s Blatant Plagiarism

This 'first lady' is the one people actually VOTE for.

Actually, lots of GOPers are having issues - not with Melania - but with the Trump campaign's utter denial of the problem and the mismanagement of the fall out. Ben Ferguson, Joe Scarborough, for example

I don't care about what happened then. I was against it at the time, but I also have the capability to move on. I'm talking about the Trump speechwriters plaguerizing which occurred yesterday and I'm not deflecting by blaming who you perceive to be as your opposition. The partisan crap you live by doesn't fly anymore and is this how you develop your beliefs? Lowering your standards because your opposition did it? This isn't the first time this has happened to either party and it will continue as long as this childish frame of mind exists.

Wrong is wrong no matter who performs the action. Sounds like you're more interested in covering your ass than speaking to truth.

Her message was fantastic. I don't think anyone cares that it was similar to Michelle's speech. Furthermore, I don't recall anyone condemning Michelle for what she said, other than being proud of her country for the first time in her adult life.

Just pointing out the complete lack of ethics here. It's not acceptable. No one needs to cherry pick when it's been failure after failure for Trump. He gave America and the world someone to laugh at. A bottomless treasure chest of laughs.
